Demeter Fragrance: The Wild and Crazy Fragrances

The Muse loves how innovative Demeter Fragrance is. Particularly when they are busy introducing fragrances that smell like..a funeral home?

demeter+fragrance+77

Gotta love it!

Jump ahead for the sweet smell of strange!

If you’re looking for unique you probably should head over to Dememter Fragrances, they have unique, wild, crazy, and a little strange on the back burner waiting for you!

Check below for some of the crazy blends the Muse wonders about (who buys this stuff anyway?).

You’d be lying if you said you never ate paste or sniffed glue. I remember in second grade we’d eat the craft paste our art teacher had in big jumbo size tubs. I also recall sniffing glue because it smelled so good, not for the buzz….honest! Re-live your youth with Demeter Glue!

Demeter+Fragrance+4

I’m not partial to the delightful scent of Play-Doh but Demeter obviously thinks some people are!

Demeter+Fragrance+6

Turpentine? Holy cow that’s some serious high!

Demeter+Fragrance+7

I love seafood, who doesn’t? But my love does not extend to smelling like it. Thanks but no thanks.

Demeter+Fragrance+5

Embalming fluid comes to mind….is that macabre?

Demeter+Fragrance+3

I believe you’ll need a bit of Dirt with that Funeral Home! What? It’s the next logical step I’m told.

Demeter+Fragrance+2

I can get on board with the scent of crayons! Who didn’t love the smell of a freshly opened pack of crayolas? That was what loved smelled like when I was five year’s old!

Demeter+Fragrance+1

I think it’s safe to say they pretty much got it all covered. Now I’m just waiting for them to introduce shrimp scampi, a meatball sub and gas. I’d so buy gas!

Name a few crazy blends you think Demeter should take on!

Aveda Sun Care Review

It’s kinda sorta difficult to drum up excitement when it comes to haircare but I do so admit that Aveda recently captured my attention with it’s new collection!

Picture+001

As Summer quickly approaches, better still as my vacation quickly approaches (June 1st) it’s always a good time to think about good ways to get hair in tip top shape. The heat, the beach, and the pool are all harsh elements on our hair. Aveda Sun Care is a line developed to protect hair and help defend it against the Summer elements that may be fun but turn everyday into a bad hair day.

The Muse is either easy to excite or she’s just digging the entire Aveda Suncare line. One thing I’m very impressed with is the lack of build up (hey, anything that’s meant to cleanse the hair of chlorine shouldn’t cause build up right?) and the rather interesting scent of all three products. All the products are an interesting blend of wintergreen and cinnamon bark oils, green tea extra, organic sunflower seed oil, shea butter, coconut, palm oils, and tamanu. The Muse admits she
hasn’t a clue what tamanu is but she bets anything in the world it’s damn important stuff. The scent might not be for everyone but I LOVE it. It’s very organic smelling. Not really floral not really green and def not fresh but it’s a little green and a touch of fruit and a tad bit of floral. It’s interesting, trust me.

I’m impressed with all three of the products I tried out but I’m the biggest fan of the Aveda Sun Care Protective Hair Veil. This leave in spray protects hair against harmful sun rays. Ok, so no offense but if I’m being honest I just dig how it makes my hair feel soft and bouncy after application and I’m totally digging on how it makes my hair smell. As far as protecting the locks from the sun….well let’s just say I don’t see the point but it’s on my to buy list again because props to a cool spray that makes my hair smell awesome and feel nice! Likey!

Picture+009

Lucky me I went swimming today so I took full advantage of seeing how Aveda Hair and Body Cleanser (Yes! Multitasking goodness! Score!) and Aveda After-Sun Hair Masque worked. I love, love how well this hair and body cleanser performs. It’s ideal for toting with me on my trip next month as it works as a shower gel and a shampoo. It smells lovely and does a fine job of rinsing my hair clean after a swim and making it nice and fluffy, very smooth, and clean feeling. It’s gentle enough that it’s not causing any build up simply aiding in removing chlorine or salt (if you’ve been to the beach) plus product build up in general! Loves this stuff! Awesome in a bottle. The After-Sun Masque is just as good at restoring my hair to a nice moisturized finish. This is a tad heavy so I do have to be careful it doesn’t load my hair down with silicons but all in all it conditions very well and makes my hair nice and soft plus it’s a great follow up after using Aveda Hair and Body Cleanser.

I generally liked these alot and I’m Muse Approving them for purchase as they were quite worth checking out. Pretty nice to stash away in your luggage during travel if you’re going to be at the beach or pool side a whole lot (or in the sun). I have a pool so I’m in it everyday, sometimes twice a day, when the weather is warm so anything that rids my hair of chlorine and keeps it from damage is always a plus in my book!

Steal It: Fresh Scents by Terri

peachy+keen

The Muse recalls dishing out $48 dollars and some change for her very first Fresh Scents fragrance.

But now you can get them for some silly price on Cherry Culture, lovesssss it!

Cherry Culture has two (the 3rd is sold out) of the Fresh Scents by Terri fragrances on sale for $12 bucks each! Omg! These normally retail for $48 so it’s a considerable savings to say the least.

Peachy Keen and Berry Cute are available but the third scent, Tangerine Kiss has already left the building. I really love these and think they are def worth trying out plus the price is ridiculously low.

Go haul peeps! Go haul!

Lush Ice Blue Shampoo Review

The Muse has been a long time Lush fan but she can’t honestly say she ever ran into Lush Ice Blue Shampoo. It’s recently been “brought back” via the Lush Retro Collection but for the life of me I can’t recall this shampoo. Was it during the Cosmetic to Go era? Was it during The Body Shop run? The Muse is clueless for sure but she thanks the gods above that it’s been brought back as it’s something special!

Picture+001

If you’re familiar with Lush Washday Greens just think of Lush Ice as the same thing minus the greens. It’s minty and fresh and it makes your scalp tingle and sing in joy! The scent is more of a spearmint smell and quite true to a fresh sprig of mint unlike Lush’s popular Freeze Shower Gel this doesn’t have that herbal, ocean water scent, it’s a good deal more pleasant and sweet smelling. I like Lush Freeze but I don’t love it since the water they use to make it morphs the scent into a medicine, herbal scent that isn’t entirely pleasant. Taking this into consideration I was worried that Ice Blue Shampoo might lean towards the same type of scent but thankfully it’s a fresh mint that’s quite addicting.

Picture+002
Picture+003
The shampoo can be pretty much be used on all hair types but do be careful as it may strip anyone with dyed hair as it’s a hardcore, stimulating shampoo that gets hair squeaky clean and washes silicons and build up clear away. It’s considerably more gentle than many other Lush shampoos but none the less dye jobs beware.

I have many Lush favorites and I’m happily adding Lush Ice Blue Shampoo to my favorite list. It’s fabulous and I highly recommend grabbing one, bet you’ll love it!

Muse Approved, no doubt.

Villainess Soaps Review

The Muse recently shared with you one of her favorite soap companoes, Villainess Soaps. If there is anything Villainess Soaps knows how to do, it’s create soaps that’s for sure. With many scents to discover Villainess Soaps keeps a boring bar of soap very exciting and fresh.

Villainess+Soaps+2

Villainess+Soaps+1

Today I’ll be reviewing for you two limited edition scents available from Villainess right now.

Skip ahead for it!

With swirly marble designs and pretty colors, Villainess Soap not only smells nice but looks darn beautiful too! These moisturizing soaps are an extra large size and create a ton of lather plus they come in incredibly unique scents. For $5 USD each they won’t break the bank either. To get more from a bar I normally slice them in half as they are quite a large size.

Two scents that are rotating in my shower at the moment are Krakatoa and Hoarfrost both of which are great for Spring or Summer with their fresh, fruity blends.

Krakatoa is a pretty off pink with swirls of cream and a metallic pink finish on top. The scent combines exotic coconut, banana, papaya, dewfruit, and mango with normal fruits such as apple, peach, plumps, pears, and raspberries. Topping these fruits is a shot of citrus orange, pineapple, lemon, and tangerine. Alot going on in this soap and it really comes through. With a light musk and a hint of sugar and a tiny bit of sandalwood to tie it altogether you’ll feel like you’re in paradise with this soap gracing your shower.

Hoarfrost brings just the opposite to the table with it’s pale, pink marble design. Combining the fruity scent of several berries and a cool blast of peppermint and eucalyptus you’ll end up with a cool, fruity experience. This one is sure to please anyone who likes cool, minty blends. The base notes of strawberry, raspberries, and blueberries blended with the coolness of peppermint and eucalyptus makes me think of cough syrup for some reason, but not in an unpleasant way. It’s quite an invigorating blend and it’s literally cooling on your skin so obviously ideal for your Summer shower!

If you’re looking for unique soaps with tons of character def check out Villainess Soaps. The Muse suggests Hoarfrost and Krakatoa to start with, both are yummy! Likey!

Carol’s Daughter Pearls Gift Set Limited Edition Review

Carol’s Daughter has been known to capture my heart a time or two with their incredibly unique fragrances. So the case may be with the brand new fragrance introduced from Carol’s Daughter.

Carol%27s+Daughter+Pearls+Picture+019

Carol’s Daughter Pearls is one of the best scents to date I’ve tried from the collection. According to Lisa Price she loves creating fragrances that are unique and unforgettable and truly that’s something she does well. Pearls is a soft blend of lemon verbena with a beautiful finish of apricot and peach. The blend has a complex way of morphing from a fruity scent to a warm sugary blend to a soft floral with hints of jasmine, rose, and violet and plenty of warm vanilla and caramel too! It quite reminds me of Fresh Lemon Sugar but far more complex with it’s various notes. The scent is very warm, sweet yet nothing too crazy, and very feminine and flirty. I love the scent of lemons in my perfume and this is a heavy note of lemon with a nice underlay of warm vanilla, sugar, and hints of caramel which slowly morphs into a fine floral. It’s quite interesting, very unique, and truly a special fragrance. Even though the fragrance is an EDT it still manages to have great throw and lingers quite strongly as most Carol’s Daughter fragrances do.

I’m reviewing Carol’s Daughter Pearls today since Mother’s Day is right around the corner and there is a very special limited edition collection available that’s a steal, a deal, and something that will make your mum (or you…hey we all need spoiling!) very happy.

Available for a very limited time is the Carol’s Daughter Limited Edition Pearls Gift Set for $49.50 which includes a Carol’s Daughter Pearls Eau de Toilette 2.5 oz and a Carol’s Daughter Pearls Body Creme 1oz. The two items come housed in a gorgeous little keepsake jewelry box with a dome lid and a little gold clasp. I still have the creme and perfume stowed away in it but you can remove them and use the box to stash away your jewelry or small treasures as it’s really a nice, sturdy keepsake box.

Carol’s Daughter Pearls Fragrance is actually $45 USD so you can spend a few dollars more and get the gift set with the body lotion for a better deal. It also ships free when purchased from Carol’s Daughter directly. Sephora also has it in store and in stock.

Carol’s Daughter Pearls is very Muse Approved for purchase. Do head to your local Sephora to check out, I’m positive you’ll fall in love with it as much as I did. It’s simply a gorgeous scent. It makes a rather great gift for Mother’s Day but the Muse can understand if you want to keep it all to yourself!

Lush Back for Breakfast Shower Gel Review

The Muse has a certain dislike for Lush when they discontinue her very favorite products! Grrrr why Lush why!? Why must you cease to produce my favorite bath goodies? Why must it all come to end? Why? Why!

Thankfully Lush came up with a somewhat agreeable solution to the Muse’s mourning by introducing the Retro Lush line. This is where Lush “brings back” many old favorites that die hard fans, like the Muse, have been a missing! Thank the gods that they brought back Back for Breakfast Shower Gel because honestly the Muse couldn’t be held responsible if she ran out again!

Lush+Back+for+Breakfast+Shower+Gel+Picture+014

The Muse remembers it well. She remembers exactly the time that Lush Back for Breakfast bit the big one. It was after Thanksgiving and the Muse had just discovered the joys of Lush one day when it popped up in her Amazon recommendations list, this was many years ago mind you. The Muse never got to experience the joys of Back for Breakfast herself but only second hand as it had been diced from the line up less than a month before the Muse’s discovery of the Lush religion.

However, less than a week later the Muse had scored a large bottle of Back for Breakfast from a Lush forum member in the UK who kindly swapped the bottle. Ever after that the Muse was possessed, obsessed, and mad enough to stalk Back for Breakfast down! By the end of that year (which wasn’t far off) she had gathered together at least 10 bottles of Back for Breakfast to tide her over with the hopes that this would last her for the next 10 years. Sadly, it didn’t!

On the verge of throwing herself off the nearest building the Muse pacified her love for Back of Breakfast and settled on Lush Happy Hippie, not nearly as good but the best one could do.

Why all this insanity for a simple shower gel?

Because it’s just so lovely!

With fresh grapefruit, lemon, and lime juices this shower gel was both tart, fruity, and sweet. It made the Muse’s hair sing in delight and made her shower experience a wonderful morning wake up call! Lush promises with use it’ll wake you up in the AM like no other shower gel and truth be told it does indeed wake up a girl and get her revved for the day ahead. That citrus cocktail of grapefruit, lemons, and limes really makes the Muse sing in the shower. It keeps her hair rather squeaky clean and makes it smell all fruity and fresh like too! Multitask, Multitask! Hair and body loves it!

Lush+Back+for+Breakfast+Shower+Gel+Picture+016
Lush+Back+for+Breakfast+Shower+Gel+Picture+015
I can’t begin to tell you how happy I was that Lush finally brought it back and now one can only hope it sticks around for a while otherwise the Muse may need to buy enough to last her for 50 years!

Lush Back for Breakfast Shower Gel, unquestionably Muse Approved for purchase! Get it! You need it, the Muse says so!

I read a few lame-o reviews and was feeling kinda shocked since I really enjoyed the scents, packaging, and general feel of the product. I thought all the blends were really unique and fun plus the packaging was too cutes! So def a yay for me! I loved Harajuku Lovers Fragrance!

Etsy Musings: Beautiful Twists by Ella Dean

The Muse always loves a little quirk with her lip balms! And quirks abound in a great little shop called Beautiful Twists on Etsy.

Today’s Etsy Musings is all about Beautiful Twists and it’s gorgeous creator Ella Dean who whips up incredible lip balm creations that’s sure to please lip junkies far and wide! I thought we’d take time out to meet up with Ella Dean, the mastermind and genius behind this little shop (or should I say very popular shop) on Etsy.

etsy+musings

The first time I stumbled onto Ella Dean’s shop caricatures of John Lennon and Yoko Uno were staring at me from a tube of a lip balm, obviously anything that has John on it’s packaging was something the Muse absolutely needed (the Muse is a big supporter of Lennon). To this day I associate Ella with the free spirited guru Yoko Uno due to the tiny profile picture she has on her shop (you’ll see what I mean when you see her photo below). With her long flowing hair and a thin headband wrapped around her forehead I couldn’t help but think free loving hippie and it couldn’t be more suitable as all of Ella’s incredible creations are made with good for you ingredients, all hand made, no base, from scratch and completely vegan-friendly ala quite hippie-like. Obviously Ella takes her art serious.

Etsy+Beautiful+Twists+Ella+Dean+36

What’s so special about Beautiful Twists? Everything. Ella makes some of thee most amazing lip balms and perfumes I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing in the e-tailer world. Her creativity is positively brilliant and all her creations are unique and different from anything you’ve tried before.

Etsy+Beautiful+Twists+Ella+Dean+3

Beautiful Twists has quite a cult following on Etsy so much so that orders from Ella takes 10-14 days (I suspect longer once the Muse posts this entry and word spreads!) to receive but boy is that wait well worth your time. Ella specializes in lip balms but she also tries her hat at perfume oils, perfumes, body sprays and exceeds at all of those too!

Now it deserves to be mentioned I’m not really that big a fan of lip balm. I’ll buy a lip balm here and there but I’m not too big a fan. Lip balms are hard, they make my lips feel like they are enclosed in a mask, and I dunno they just aren’t my cuppa really. I love my Labello balms as they have a dreamy formula but really when you think lip balm I’m positive you automatically think of a crummy chapstick tube and a mediocre formula.

Well, Ella takes lip balm to the next level with a creamy, dreamy, glossy, tasty formula that’s simply to die for. At $3.25 USD per a tube (with special deals and packages on sets) the Muse feels guilty purchasing these at such an outrageously low cost! Ella puts alot of love into these babies and it shows. Please don’t let the “lip balm” name mislead you and fool you into thinking of a simple chapstick. Elle’s balms have an incredibly moisturizing formula that’s sure to please even the most snobby balm lover. The only sad thing about her balms is the fact you’ll catch a made frenzy of that dreaded pokemon disease and want to collect ‘em all as she releases them.

Although I’m crazed for her balms I do so admit to being equally (or even more so) obsessed with her awesome body sprays! These are the perfect Summer-time treat for a light spritz of a gorgeous, unique blend of fragrance. I dunno how she does it but she manages to create a great body spray that lingers on and on and gives off a wonderful throw.

Ella agreed to be interviewed for Musings about her goodies and it was a pure joy working with her on the article especially considering how busy she is. You can see how excited and passionate she is about her art by reading a little bit about Ella and Beautiful Twists below!

What’s your name and where are you from?
Ella Dean & I’m from Wisconsin, but now live in Ohio.

What made you start selling on etsy?
I had my own website & then I discovered Etsy one day looking for earrings shaped like apples & I just knew I had to open a shop there because I loved how everything was so unique & you could reach people all over the world.

Have you sold your wares anywhere else (Your stuff is so good we want to stalk you)? I have had it in a few boutiques & salons (Cookie Cutters, Salon Lofts etc) & Lane Bryant ordered a bunch of body products last year for promotions & such (how awesome is it her stuff was at Lane Bryant!!!!)

What sort of ingredients goes into your balms and body sprays?
I love using really silky & moisturizing vegan ingredients mixed with a fun dreamy scent.

They are vegan friendly and organic right?
My body products are all Vegan & all my ingredients are 100% vegan friendly. I love using candelilla wax (a wax from a plant) rather than beeswax because bees scare me & I kinda feel bad for them sometimes (yes, I’m a sap). I also love using sweet almond oil because it makes my lip conditioners very soothing & moisturizing & it has a nice mild scent.

How does one even make a lip balm?
You take a moisturizing oils & a wax of your choice & melt it on the stove & then I pour the mixture in a glass container so I can pour the mixture into all the tiny containers, but first (the fun part) you add a few drops of flavor or essential oil & if you want a little color & then stir it up & pour it in before it solidifies, WELLA!!

How long does it take?
I seriously make lip conditioners every day, it’s like brushing my teeth, so depending on how many flavors it takes, about 30-40 minutes (I still love doing it even after & 7 years)

Your blends are all really unique how do you think them up?
Believe it or not a lot come from my dreams or just something I’m hungry for. My niece Madelyn, who is six, just inspired my latest flavor ‘Strawberry Mint Toothpaste’ & the label has a cute tooth fairy on it. She just lost her first tooth & she’s fascinated by the Tooth Fairy. I love to think up different flavors…it’s kind of an addiction to me hee-hee! (The Muse so needs Strawberry Mint ToothPaste!)

What’s the hardest part about creating a new blend?
I may get all excited about a new flavor & then it doesn’t work out. Here’s an example…My husband is my very patient guinea pig throughout the years. He’s basically tried every flavor I have created, even when I came up with a ketchup lip conditioner (yeah, that was a Limited Edition).

Does anything every just not work?
Yes, Ketchup Lip Conditioner. Oh & I once tried to make a grilled cheese sandwich scent…not so yummy.

How do you keep your costs so incredibly low? Especially considering how cute your packaging is!
I want everyone to be able to afford them because everyone deserves smoochalicious, soft dreamy lips!!

Do you do your own cute graphics?
I create all my own labels on my computer, but I can’t draw at all, so I have an artist draw me up the pictures (I give every detail, right down to if they have dimples or not). Many of the characters on my labels were inspired by real women I have met in my life or I have met while traveling around the world. People amaze & inspire me!!

How often do you release new blends and collections?
All the time. My brain just won’t stop thinking of new flavors & collections!! My husband is an Engineer & his brain works very different than mine & he’s always like ‘you have to stop’ & I keep telling him I just can’t. I dream about new flavors & collections all the time. Here’s a little secret for your readers…I’m going to be starting a line of body products that you keep in your fridge, so when you come home from yoga, walking the dog, grocery shopping & you’re all hot, just spritz yourself with a cool mist. This collection is going to have fun, unique scents that will make the carrots in your fridge jealous! (Damn the carrots in my fridge will be jealous? Look out carrots the Muse has Ella Dean goodness coming to a fridge near you!)

Do you think you’ll ever branch out and start making other items aside from balms, perfumes, and body sprays?
I actually use to make bath salts, soap & lotion, but once I got so busy, I just couldn’t keep up. Hopefully, I’ll be able to start again. Oh & I plan on having fun scented bubble bath in my shop soon too (pistachio pudding scented, etc….)

Ella was good enough to share some pictures of her items with us today too, have a peep below!

Thanks Ella! The Muse hearts you!

With blends like Pickle Juice and Green Apples and Cantaloupe and Peanut Butter sandwiches (it’s awesome trust me) I imagine that Ella will be in business a very long time keeping fans like the Muse clamoring for more please! Beautiful Twists by Ella Dean is an incredible Etsy experience and I’m pleased to bring you an Etsy Musing of it today.

Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush 3-in-1 Body Wash Review

Victoria%27s+Secret

After yammering on and freaking on and on about how much I wanted Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush 3-in-1 Body Washes, the Muse finally caved and hauled ‘em all!

While the Muse’s friend Kira shopped butt floss the Muse wandered over to the Victoria’s Secret body care section and started stocking up on the brand new Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush 3-in-1 Body Washes in dozens, ok not dozens but almost, try half a dozen, what? I can’t just choose scent. Come on people I’m the Muse for crying out loud. Since the washes were 3 for $25 and there happened six that turned into the lucky number of the night. But have no fear my entire haul cost a mere $34 and change as I used my handy dandy 20% Off coupon plus I had a coupon that came in the mail for $10 off and finally I had a gift card with a whopping $9 bucks on it! Score! So each cost me less than $6 bucks or so.

Obviously I haven’t had a chance to use all of them but I just got out of the shower not 10 minutes ago after using Honey Do and the Muse likey! They smell quite strong and multitask as a shower gel, bubble bath, and shampoo. I used it as a shower gel and shampoo, now my hair is smelling all fruitylicious.

The scents I got were:

  • Coconut Craze
  • Appletini
  • Honey Do
  • Slice of Heaven
  • Juiced Berry
  • Candy, Baby

Coconut Craze is quite a nice tropical coconut blend but has a touch of headache inducing car air freshener scent if that makes sense at all. Appletini is nice and sweet, fruity, and has a nice tart round out. Honey Do is fresh, sweet, and smells very much like a cool melon. Juiced Berry is my favorite as it’s a nice fruity berry smell. Candy, Baby is a nice cotton candy vanilla like scent. And finally Slice of Heaven is a very nice sweet vanilla blend.

Compared to other 3-in-1′s such as BBW’s and Philosophy, these are def up there as a good decent wash and shampoo. They are extra strong smelling and moisturizing. All in all it makes the shower experience a sweet one. Likey!

Well worth checking out and Muse Approved for purchase!

It’s getting to be that special time of the year kids. Tans, beaches, swimming, humid nights, and long, warm days are ahead! Start getting your Summer on now with Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche Skinscent.

Estee+Lauder+Bronze+Goddess+Eau+Fra%C3%AEche+Skinscent+2

This is my first run in with the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess fragrance line up. Although it’s been released from year to year, the Muse somehow missed it’s amazing scent. Now that she’s hooked she’ll def be making it part of her Summer must have selections!

With a sensuous blend of bergamot and mandarin this scent engulfs you in it’s warm heat and makes you think of the hot beach with the scent of tanning oil in the air. Rounded up with hints of coconut, gardenia, amber, and sandalwood the fragrance toys with you nose and captures the true essence of what Summer is all about, heat, warmth, and the boiling sun!

Freaking loves it!

The bottle is 3.4 oz in size and $52 USD. It’s an Eau Fraîche which makes it considerably lighter wear than a typical EDT or EDP but that doesn’t keep it from having a good throw and a nice long linger especially in the warmer weather, seems as my body chemistry rises the scent intensifies into a unique fragrance experience.

Sunsilk Captivating Curls Collection Review

Someone told me that March comes in like a lion and goes out like lamb but it was actually pretty tame this year but hells April now that was some sincerely crummy weather. April flowers brings May flowers, abso-freaking-lutely! It’s been rain and cold since almost the first day of April. Yak! With showers brings many bad hair days all around. Frizzy nightmare! The rain makes a Muse’s hair stand up on end like Einstein. Granted the geek inside the Muse doesn’t mind in the least being compared to Einstein however she’s not so sure about the hair.

Have no fear Sunsilk Captivating Curls has me covered to keep the evil frizz at bay and keep my wavy, curly hair nice and tame!

With four ways to tame your curls it’s easy enough to avoid scary Einstein hair with a full line of budget friendly products from the new Sunsilk Captivating Curls Collection.

Sunsilk Captivating Curls Shampoo and Conditioner features plant extract aloe-e to help tame unruly frizz and define curls. The Must thinks it smells rather pretty of peach and gardenia so you’re left with fresh scented curls as well as tame ones.

Sunsilk Captivating Curls De-frizz Leave-in Creme is my new best friend, totally repurchasing when I run out. It’s a soft cream conditioner that you can leave in for taming frizz and keeping curls happy.

Sunsilk+Captivating+Curls+Collection+Review+1

Sunsilk Captivating Curls Gel & Cream Twist is a unique blend that provides conditioning benefits of a cream and a gel. This does a great job of taming frizz and defining curls but it weighted my hair down a fair bit so I did have to use with caution.

Lastly Sunsilk Captivating Curls Scrunching Mousse creates full-bodied, bouncy curls for a romantic look. Kept curls tame, controlled, and beautiful.

Although the Muse is a lushie haircare girl at heart she can appreciate the fresh scent and curl taming power of the Sunsilk line plus who doesn’t love haircare that costs under $4 bucks. Loves it. If you’re looking for a line to get your curls under control do check out the SunSilk Captivating Curls Collection!

Snag your wellies and head out in the rain to sing because SunSilk has you covered, be gone frizz!
