My Beauty Diary Vanilla Souffle Face Scrub why you so cute for?
My Beauty Diary introduced this little face peel a while ago but I never got around to reviewing it. Lucky enough they continue to release cute little skincare products here and there which I’m loving as they originally started out as a line of facial sheet masks only.
The brand is Taiwanese so not readily available at your local CVS but it’s easy enough to locate online for fairly close to retail prices as well as in smaller Asian beauty shops if you live in a heavily Asian populated neighborhood or city.
It’s been a while since I blogged My Beauty Diary, mark it as a celebration and call in Joe and Ariel sexy time, watch out guys, you might fall off the balcony!
Phew, so damn hot in here now.
Haul out the My Beauty Diary Orange Blossom & White Lotus Sleep Concentrate to cool my skin off.
Softymo Airy Whip is one of my very favorite products so I’m constantly picking up anything that Japanese brand, Kose releases under the Softymo range.
They released Softymo White Super Make Off Sheets a few months ago so I snatched up a variety of formulas to try out.
I picked up HadaLabo Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Face Mist a few months ago on a whim since I loved the idea of adding another moisturizing mist to my stash.
I typically use mists after a shower before my makeup and in the evening after cleansing to add a bit more moisture to my skin as well as to refresh it. On a rare occasion I also use it to set my makeup but this isn’t often.
Considering how great HadaLabo products are at retaining moisture I was quite excited to give their mist a try.
The new Sana Hadanomy Aqua Placenta Collection has launched. You might recall my deep love and lust for the original Sana Hadanomy Collection, check back into the archives for the reviews, this is an extension of that line with a new formula.
Toner is such an important part of my skincare regime. Having drier skin I can use all the help I can get to keep my skin hydrated, soft, and smooth. Toner aids the chore and also allows my moisturizer to absorb easily into my skin.
Mists and toners are such an essential part of my daily regime and just something I wholeheartedly recommend even for folks that aren’t dry, they just really help balance skin out and prep skin for other parts of your skincare line up.
Recently I’ve been using Naris Up Japan Skin Conditioner Lotion Toner in two different formulas. These are HUGE bottles of toner that work not only to soften skin but also act as a great DIY mask, I’ll explain in a second.
The Maybelline Pure BB Mineral Collection is kinda old news in Japan. Its never been released in the US but it did make it’s way across much of Asia upon release.
It happens to be one of those products that throws around “BB” in the title to garner attention but really that’s not a reference to the formula being a BB Cream. I notice the words BB Cream and BB seem to float around a lot when it comes to foundation and base products.
Japan typically releases new products prior to us with different names. For example, our new Bouncy Dream Blushes are called Jello Glow in Japan. I’m mentioning this because I was curious if we might see this BB Mousse pop up here in the US at some point. We sorta have in the form of Maybelline’s new foaming foundation but…packaging is different as well as formula slightly.
I find Maybelline products exceed quality in terms of pigmentation and formula in Japan versus much of the catalog products we have here in the US market so I expected Pure BB Mineral BB Mousse to be something I rejoiced in but sadly it didn’t quite happen that way.
