Rodial has joined the realms of BB Cream with their new BB Venom Skin Tint Beauty Balm. Good name, as at the moment, Korean and Japanese brands are on a snake venom kick. Several months ago it was snails but right now snake venom is the order of business in BB Creams and skincare.
Hydroxatone Anti-Aging BB Cream ($39) is a surprising launch for me as I’m not familiar with the brand. After browsing, reading, and learning more about Hydroxatone, it seemed logical they would introduce their own BB Cream considering they sell a variety of skincare products that address common anti-aging issues.
I located a tube at Macy’s but the brand is also sold at Ulta.
Here’s a few thoughts…!

I’ve been messing around with it for several weeks now and although it lacks the pigmentation of an Asian BB Cream, I must say, I really like it.

I recently reviewed the Skin Food Good Afternoon Rose Lemon Tea BB Cream for you in a prior post which is one of several afternoon tea infused BB Cream formulas that the brand recently introduced.
I also picked up the Good Afternoon Berry Berry Tea as well which is the anti-aging formulation from the collection.

I haven’t tried it as of yet but I am curious.

What’s your latest BB Cream try?
Skin 79 Snail Nutrition BB Cream is made up of 45% snail secretion filtrate.
Maybe but it’s the latest craze and trend to hit Korea. Most everything you see has some sort of snail “slime” in it lately including skincare products like serums, moisturizers, and eye creams.
I know it sounds disgusting but there isn’t any scent or any one feature that will make you think of snails when you’re using it.

Ok, so Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer is a mouth full isn’t it?
I’m was bracing myself to dislike this since I’ve had my ups and downs with “BB” related products here in the US but I came out of it feeling good about the overall product so long as I don’t think of it as a BB Cream.
Do you need it?
“Best BB Cream not called a BB Cream”? Seriously?
What does that even MEAN!?
So it’s a tinted moisturizer but Spry magazine though a snappy little headline would be “Best BB Cream not called a BB Cream”?
Someone save me from all da crazy.
