I admit that sometimes I get a little case of makeup burn out, hey, it happens to the best of us cosmetic junkies right? But damn I had a really fun time playing with the Sleek Makeup Berry Collection for Holiday 2011.
Imma tell you, it’s not the easiest makeup to pull off due to the vibrant, bold shades of berry but with a little patience you can create an outstanding look for the Holidays using this three piece set.

Imma tell you, the Sleek Makeup Berry Collection for Holiday 2011 promo images look amazing, particularly the look they created!
Seriously, this is the best Holiday look I’ve seen to date this year. I love the smoked out eye combined with the bright, festive red on the model’s eyes!
Whatever it is, looks amazing, dontcha agree?
This set is $15.99 and features three full size products, you get:
- Sleek Makeup Fenberry Blush (crimson rose)
- Sleek Makeup Kohl Pencil in Mossberry (deep burgundy)
- Sleek Makeup True Colour lipstick in Cranberry (matte mulled wine)
$15.99 is a steal for the set but sadly Sleek Makeup is located in the UK so Airmail Shipping Fees (they ship worldwide) apply but I think the haul is well WORTH it as look at that stunning look!
Drool! I think it would make a fabulously unique gift for a makeup lover friend or family member.

I remember my haul of Eau de Soap & Glory Formula 2 like it was yesterday. It wasn’t quite what I had envisioned but it sure did appease my absolute NEED for a Soap & Glory fragrance.
I dunno about you but that traditional sparkling, clean, freshness of Soap & Glory’s traditional scent evokes bliss to my nose.

Lush UK had their traditional Forum Party this week and like any party they have pre-Christmas it includes several exclusive Forum Fragrances!
Yay!
I’m not nearly as active as I used to be on the forums but I’ve been ordering the exclusive fragrances for at least 8 years or so now since they are unique blends that Lush doesn’t normally do.

Sleek Makeup Blush is an absurdly pigmented blusher that has many a NARS dupe in its shade selection line up. Anyone ever try it? Seriously, this stuff is pigmented, highly rec it for the darker skinned ladies out there as it’s sure to show up loud and proud on darker skin!

British brand, Nip and Fab, has recently launched at Target. The line is actually created by Maria Hatzistefanis the found of Rodial. Rodial being rather expensive it’s nice to know there’s a budget friendly option available out there by the same folks who brought it to us eh? Think of Nip and Fab as the new Soap & Glory peeps as it has some fabulous little products that will not only conceal your dark circles but give your tummy a much needed pick me up!
Some products that caught my eye were the Eye Fix which is a concealer that reduces puffiness plus their Sheer Make-Up Fix which sounds like a low calorie BB Cream.
Maria’s actually live on Twitter today (12:00 PM EST) if you want to ask her questions about the brand, the products, or even ask her suggestions about common beauty problems like dreaded puffy eyes!
Tweet her at @NipandFab using hashtags #NipandFabinTarget and #TargetChat to get replies to your questions!
Have fun!
P.S. Have you tried Nip & Fab?

Whipping out your best smoky eye for the holiday season?
I’m not. Dude, smoky totally makes me look tired lately. I’m whipping out my best brown smoky eye…
However, those rocking the traditional smoky eye might want a little extra helping hand and a solid base with a little drama. Bring in the Sleek Makeup Molten Metal my little flying monkeys, yeah, I have flying monkeys around doing my bidding, I roll like that.
