I love me some facial cotton from Shiseido but I love Lily Bell Patting Cotton Puffs even more.
Hey, you might think that all cotton is unlike but it isn’t, trust me.
The best kind comes from Japan.
For serious!

KATE is a Japanese line of cosmetics sold under the Kanebo brand name. With brands like Lavshuca under their belt I’d say that KATE proves the more edgy in the Kanebo family with a range of bolder shades of color.
They recently introduced a few new concealers and revised formulas of concealers to their catalog, well, perhaps not that recently as its been several months since I purchased some of the new items.
Let’s take a look at the KATE Stick Concealer.

Shiseido Anessa is one my absolute favorite products for Summer fun in the sun. It offers great protection at SPF 50 and wears quite well under extreme conditions such as a day at the beach or the pool.
I’m delighted that they have a brand new BB Cream that recently launched in Japan. This is available in two shade and offers an SPF 50 as well.
I’m quite eager to get my hands on it so expect a review soon. I’m having a friend who lives Tokyo grab me one up but keep your eyes on Adambeauty.com as I’m sure he’ll get it shortly at a very reasonable price.
Visit www.shiseido.co.jp if you’d like to explore the Anessa Collection.
Although I’ve reviewed Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color a few times already, I thought I’d haul out the very delightful, limited edition shade, Bird Flutter, for a swatch and a play today.
I’m obsessed with all things coral and peach particularly when Spring and Summer hit and this is a lovely shade of peachy coral that shouldn’t be missed. This shade is also one of the more vibrant ones I’ve seen in this range since the Jelly Eye Colors normally favor lighters shades of gold, pink, etc…

I feel like I don’t have nearly enough golden peach shades in my makeup life like Tarte’s Glisten.
Isn’t that an amazing shade of glowing blush?
With that note in mind I asked a friend of mine who lives in Tokyo to purchase me Lunasol Glowing Powder Cheeks, a new glowing blush from Lunasol that promises a radiant finish.
The interesting packaging, allure of the color and promise of radiance were all key selling points plus the Lunasol name on the box makes this one a tempting little purchase.

Biore released their Resort Nose Strips in the Summer of 2010. Seriously, what’s better than sitting around with a nose strip on than one that’s like a tropical vacation! These scented nose strips whisked you away to a private paradise as they dug deep into your pores to remove those pesky blackheads.
Hmmm maybe it was a tropical paradise for your blackheads rather than for you.
Either way, aromatherapy in nose strips, can I get a hells yes?
This year, two new scented nose strips have arrived in Japan.
Take a look, they aren’t tropical island paradises but they do bring some fun fruity, floral notes to your nose strip world!

The Les Merveilleuses de Laduree Collection launched in Tokyo recently. This is a selection of incredibly lavish makeup inspired and brought to you by Laduree, yes, as in the creator of delicate Parisian macrons.
Pastries aren’t exactly in the realms of makeup but Laduree puts as much care, beauty, and sweetness in their new color collection as they would any of their decadent desserts.

HadaLabo is an extremely popular skincare collection in Japan. The products are well known for containing hyaluronic acid which is an excellent ingredient for hydrating skin as well as allowing your skin to retain more moisture.
I’m not sure how effective it is having such an ingredient in your cleanser but the HadaLabo Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Makeup Remover is one of my favorite makeup removers.

I absolutely love peaches, corals, etc….and the new, limited edition Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Color in Bird Flutter (18) is an absolute gem of a coral!

Lunasol has introduced two new boxed powders a la Benefit for Spring 2012.
Glowing Powder Cheeks is available in a coral and pink version and launched in Japan just recently. I was intrigued by these as they sported the same packaging as Benefit plus the “glowing” sold me as I assumed they have a gorgeous shimmer or perhaps a glowing, highlighted finished.

I’m seeing quite a few cleansing waters released at the moment. They aren’t a hugely popular product in the US but they do decently well in the Asian market. One in particular that’s cult favorite is Mandom Cleansing Water. I reviewed this quite a few years ago on Musings and its kinda my lazy girl makeup remover for when I’m really not up for the huge nightly regime to get my makeup off.
Cleansing waters are fairly nice because they are not only simple and to the point for makeup removal but most do a damn good job tackling waterproof makeup while still remaining gentle enough not to strip skin or dry it out. Of course, this is from my experience using Asian ones, I haven’t really used any in the US.
Koh Gen Do Cleansing Spa Water happened across my desk a few weeks ago and I’m happy to say I’m enjoying it immensely.

Hadalabo is a very, very popular collection of skincare products available in Japan. I’ve always felt like Juju Cosmetics Aqua Moist Collection is kinda a copycat of the line.
Juju Cosmetics Aqua Moist Hyaluronic Acid Eye Cream recently caught my eye and I strayed from Hadalabo temporarily while I checked out this one.
Here are a few of my thoughts!
