Holika Holika Pore Cover Mousse Starter is a foaming primer with an SPF 30. This foaming facial primer supposedly blurs the appearance of large pores while evening out skin tone and prepping skin for makeup while protecting it from the sun.
Foaming primers like this are a fairly common offering that a variety of Asian brands offer. I’ve tried literally hundreds and most offer the same benefits.

I don’t have a ton of details about the new Etude House Color Pop Collection launching for Summer 2013 but they have been busy tweeting images of the Color Pop products crazily on Twitter the past few days!
It launches in Korean on May 15th, 2013 and includes a variety of bright, vibrant shades of orange and tangerine.

Missha Signature Complexion Coordinating BB Cream SPF 43 is one of two new BB Cream formulas that Missha recently introduced in Korea. This isn’t yet available here in the US but I imagine it’ll shortly become available via Missha’s online shop.
There’s actually a white color adjusting formula of this that’s dubbed BB Cream which I am curious to try out but I went the safer route and got the already beige shade.
Let’s take a look!

Lavshuca Sweet Perfume Cheek Blush was recently launched for Spring 2013 in four shades. Supposedly they smell like the scent of sweet lollipop. You’re probably think, “Oh that’s why she purchased it!” if so you either know me too well or that’s why you would have purchased it too.
Seriously, tell me, lollipop scented blusher, does that not kinda thrill you? I can’t be alone here. Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

CC Creams are hitting hard this Spring in Korea and many brands are introducing their own variation. The latest one I tried is Innisfree Real Skin CC Cream which also fits into the color adapting formula that many of the brands producing CC Cream are using.
I am very impressed with the color changing technology on CC Creams as they seem to indeed do a fairly good job of fitting my exact skin tone and so far I’ve only had one that was a tad too pasty and light. Outside of that it appears the skin adapting technology is really working out quite well.
Let’s take a look at Innisfree Real Skin CC Cream.

I recently purchased Y.E.T Break BB Water Drop on a whim when I snatched up some of Y.E.T’s Blushes and Skincare products. This was a poor purchase on my part as I HATE Water Drop BB Cream style products.
Anyone with me?
They are always so terribly runny and watery and just ugh…!
I had hopes this would prove different.

Holika Holika Pure Mellow Jelly Blush is a cute cream blusher available in five different shades. I recently picked this up on a whim because I loved the sweet apricot color plus I thought a cream blush would be rather excellent for Summer wear.

At this point I’m unsure how many variations of Etude House Kissful Tint Chou are around. They keep repackaging, revamping, and re-releasing it to intentionally confused me.
For shame Etude House for shame!
They know I’ll keep buying it that’s why. And you should consider buying it too because it is THEE bestest lip stain ever. Tired of stains drying your lips out?
Etude House Kissful Tint Chou is for you my dears!

I recently purchased Y.E.T Shy Girl Powder Blusher off of E-bay in two of the six shades they offer this little loose blush in. I dunno why but the packaging just kills me, seriously, the girl on the packaging looks like she’s giving such sass you gotta love it.
I don’t really love loose powder blushes since they tend to be a little messy but at $7.90 each these weren’t killing my bank account too much.

I’ve had Tony Moly Intense Repair Live Snail Cream in my stash a while now along with Tony Moly Intense Live Snail Eye Cream as well since they came as a set.
I believe Paris (My Women Stuff) either had a Holiday in Korea or somewhere else when she purchased these for me on request and it’s been quite a long time since she sent them to me so much so that I’m nearly done with the facial cream and have completely used up all the eye cream at this point.
I think perhaps they have been two of my first Snail Skincare products outside of Etude House’s snail moisturizer. Since that time I’ve tried a whole host of products with snail secretion including BB Creams, masks, sleeping packs, etc…etc….Snail is kinda an old trend at this point and Korea (and other Asian companies) are now moving on to venoms. Oh lawd…how does one keep up with all these skincare crazes?
Let’s take a look at Tony Moly’s version of Snail Cream and see how it holds up.

I ran out of my Shu Cleansing Oil so I decided to start trying a few other cleansing oils one of which is the Skin Food Lemon Brightening Cleaning Oil.
Just when I thought I tried every single Cleansing Oil Skin Food has ever made a new one pops across my path. The good news is this was considerably cheaper than replenishing my Shu Cleansing Oil so it was worth the try.
Supposedly it brightens skin as it cleanses but I do not see the point of a cleansing oil that washes away as a brightening agent…however, I’m game to try anything!

Nature Republic has two new Super Origin CC Cream (Complete Control Cream) formulas available in Korea at the moment. There’s a tinted version as well as a brightening version. I do suggest you go into a purchase for the tinted version as the brightening one is more of a primer versus an actual CC Cream.
Let’s take a look!

Y.E.T (Yes! Enjoy Time) is a fairly new Korean brand that I decided to give a try out to recently and it all started with Y.E.T Fix You Ampoule.
Y.E.T Fix You Ampoule comes in a range of three formulations to address a variety of skin concerns. Providing moisture is one of the main benefits of these ampoules. Considering I have drier skin that was definitely a good thing for me.

Holika Holika Face 2 Change CC Cream Color Control Cream SPF 32 PA ++ was recently released in Korea. Actually, Holika Holika Face 2 Change CC Cream is one of a few products in the Face 2 Change range but I’ll tell you more about those in upcoming reviews.
CC Creams got a big push this Spring in Korea and more and more brands are launching their own variations. At this point, I can honestly say, I am in love with the CC Cream formulas I’ve tried and dare I say find them even more wearable and user friendly than some of my personal favorite BB Creams. Tony Moly, Skin Food, Etude House, and Holika Holika are just a few of the many brands that are doing CC Creams at the moment.
Let’s take a look!
