Banila Co is an interesting brand available exclusively in Korea. Some of the items they create are pretty brilliant and they have some sincerely wonderful eye palettes that I adore.
Most notable to the brand is their baked shadows and face powders. I have quite a few of their baked powders however none of their shadows so last year I went ahead and indulged in one. I’m actually happy I didn’t decided to grab several shades as I would normally do because the one shade I did try was a tad disappointing.

Finally the US is catching the BB Cream bug. I’ve been using BB Creams for about three or four years now. They are my sole foundation option simply because they are one of the few base products that don’t oxidize quickly on my skin. Add to the fact that they are super creamy and moisturizing for my dry skin and I’m a happy girl indeed.
If you’ve never tried a BB Cream or you simply don’t know what one is please visit an old post I did by clicking here to brush up on what a BB Cream is and does.
I’m really excited today to announce that Dr. Jart has brought his BB Creams to Sephora!
Check it!

It’s a fact that we simply do NOT get any of the fun stuff in our drugstores.
WTH?
Jeepers, we miss out on all the brilliant releases.
In 2009, Maybelline stepped up its game in a major way and introduced products like the Maybelline Eye Studio Shadow Duos and I am so hoping that the new Maybelline Eye Studio Color Explosion Duo Palettes will launch here soon in the US. These are so pretty and are currently available within Europe (and Asia but a different variation).

As you know from my prior Musings Korean Brand, Etude House has released Miss Tangerine which is a collection that features vibrant shades of orange for Spring.
So far, Miss Tangerine has been a fun journey but some of the lip products haven’t quite lived up to my expectations. The stains had a way bitter taste and the two selections of lipsticks were a bit too orange for me!
With all this in mind I didn’t set my hopes to high for the last of the lip products featured with the collection which are the Sweet Shower Lips.
Let’s take a look!
