For a very long time my favorite mascara was Majolica Majorca Lash Expander. This is a branch off brand created by Shiseido and at one time available exclusively within Japan but now it’s available in other Asian countries, just not, sadly, the US.
One of the most common questions I get about Lash Expander is how do I remove it? I’ve never had a problem removing the mascara but for some reason or another many people who use and love it have complained, ranted, and had major woe getting it all off. I simply use my normal oil based eye makeup remover but again, for some reason, that doesn’t seem to work for everyone.
This Fall, Majolica Majorca finally created and released Eyes Reset Gel for removing mascara. This is an exciting release for those who have had drama in the past with removing any mascaras by the brand. I was keen to try it myself out of morbid curiosity even though my normal remover worked just fine.

Target, as you may know, is no longer a retailer for Soap & Glory product, much to my dismay. As of now the only way to get your fix is to stock up on whatever is left at your local Target or start hauling it from England if you have the means.
But today Soap & Glory released a little news about one of its new retailers, wait, not so fast, don’t get too excited because the retailer isn’t in the US as of yet.

Lord knows I’m a high end cosmetic junkie. I live by the rule, “you get what you pay for”. Dishing out $20 for an eyeshadow that easily blends, has plenty of pigment, and simply looks stunning is way better than dishing out $5 for one that blends awful, has a chalky formula, and just looks awful on my eyes.
You get what you pay for.
However, some drugstore cosmetics have convinced me that they deserve a special spot among my elite high end cosmetic brands.
Here’s a post that checks out the best of both worlds and includes the best High End Cosmetics vs. the best Drugstore Cosmetics.
