The warm weather has set in. I’m looking forward to a heated New York Summer, let’s hope this good weather lasts because if you live around these parts you’ve probably been way disappointed at our lack of Spring.
Jumping in the Summer I’m already stocking up on facial mists, lightweight moisturizers, and cheeks stains! I love naturally flushed cheeks in the Summer with minimal to no eye makeup so I’m all about hunting out the best cheek stains of the moment.
I tried out Jelly Pong Pong Jelly Flush which is quite a dupe-tastic version of Tarte’s legendary Cheek Stains.
Let’s take a peek!
What was that tag line from Field of Dreams? Build it and they will come? I need to steal that for cheap Asian Eau de Toilettes….”Make them and she will buy them…” That’s me, sucker punched into purchasing really bad EDT sprays from Korea.
I keep buying into cheapie EDT sprays because they are so damn cute but OMG they smell like…
I say Brazil and you think what…?
Rio de Janeiro?
Hawt Footballer Players?
I dunno why but the only thing that pops into my head when I think Brazil is an interview Freddy Mercury did in 1985 while he was in Rio. He seemed so incredibly put out in that interview…! But when he says, “I am the surprise!” it makes me laugh. Sigh…so yeah, that’s what I think of when I hear Brazil, my mind works in strange and unusual ways!
Speaking of Brazil, I’m depending on the Jelly Pong Pong Brazilian Sun Bronzer to give me a sunkissed glow this Summer because it’s bronzer for dummies yo! So easy to apply!
My Beauty Diary has a new range of sheet masks that were released several months ago entitled Blooming of Beauty. These masks are a new range that are supposedly more effective than the the masks in the general catalog. They also sport a thinner material that allows the essence to be absorbed more easily into the skin.
Since I wanted to try the entire range of masks in the Blooming Beauty Collection I decided to get a the My Beauty Dairy Blooming of Beauty Mask Package Set.
Let’s have a look!
Maybe I’m craving matcha but when I tried out the My Beauty Diary Aloe Amino Acid Cleanser I could swear it smelled like some sort of matcha tea or candy!
This foaming cleanser is available for a limited time and supposedly contains amino acids. Amino acids are supposed to stimulate the product of collagen so your skin will look firmer and fine lines and wrinkles will appear plumped up and less visible…yeah, well, you know how it goes with skincare promising us the world.
I will say it’s a great cleanser and hey, if by some chance it has some anti-aging benefits in the long run you won’t hear me complaining!
