As you know Lumene has introduced a new Time Freeze Anti-Age CC Color Correcting Cream that’s launching in drugstores this July for the Fall 2013 season. I really thought that Lumene did a fairly nice job with their Vitamin C+ Illuminating Anti-Age BB Cream so I was pretty excited to explore their CC Cream formula.
Lumene Time Freeze Anti-Age CC Color Correcting Cream will be available in two shade selections (light and medium) and promises a color correcting formula with an SPF 20 that multitasks at a few different things.
Pond’s Luminous Finish BB Cream ($9.99) is a newly launched BB Cream from Ponds that will be available in two shade selections. This BB Cream is part of the Luminous Skincare Collection that Ponds released earlier last year.
I ran across the display recently at Walmarts so keep your eyes peeled for it there as well as at other drugstore locations.
For all my fairest of the fair ladies and lads out there I present Shills Electric Eyes Concealer (with SPF 50 w00t). I reviewed Shills Electric Eye Concealer a rather long time ago and I absolutely adored it but I quickly realized that Shills Closer to You is a better fit for my skin tone.
If you recently read my review of Shills Closer to You and you have fairer skin with pink undertones I think you’ll get on quite happily with Shills Electric Eyes Concealer.
Either way, I’m somehow hopeful they actually improved the formula as I didn’t love it my first time around. And actually felt kinda bad because so many people proclaimed what a HG (holy grail) eye makeup remover it was.
Yeah, it kinda does resemble a milk shake as it’s a bi phase remover that has a milky liquid on the bottom half and a more oil-like one on the top. Shake it and it becomes a milky substance for whisking away eye makeup easily.
My main issue with it was it created trippy cloud vision. As much as I’d like to turn the lights down low, throw a few colored scarfs over my lamp shades, and put on a little Hendrix on while enjoying my tab dropping lack of vision I can’t say I feel completely comfortable when something weird is up with my eyes. I have a panic attack when I need to get them dilated.
So here’s hoping new packaging means an improved formula!
Have you every used Skin Food’s Milk Shake Makeup Remover?
Dontcha just hate oil cleansers or eye makeup removers that give you cloudy vision!?
