Thanks to reader Florence for this post who kindly pointed out that one of her lipsticks smelled like…ahem…pee. I haven’t run into that variety of lipstick myself to be honest but lord knows I’ve run across my fair share of cosmetics, skincare, and beauty bits and bobs that do STINK!

I’ve had people tell me that Lush Face Masks smell like….well…perhaps I shouldn’t say that one out loud.

Now I’m talking about rancid, nasty smells here because I know some of you think that cherry flavored and scented lip gloss is the devil’s work. I personally love lipgloss or lipsticks that are flavored and scented nicely…..so I asking you about some really gross, disgusting smelling stuff here and it isn’t cherry honey!

The award for worst offender for me in the smelly category goes to…

Remember when Julia on Nip/Tuck started selling a La Mer-like facial cream which contained…ahem….semen.

Hell I even read on the Internetz that Cleopatra used sperm in her facial cream and even bathed in it….god I love the Internet for creating incredibly crazy stuff up, don’t you? Cosmo’s Sexy Beauty Secrets Blog even reveals a sperm facial is a fantastic experience…..I will not say anything cheeky, I will not say anything cheeky…Going rate for a Sperm Facial? A whopping $250 bucks but mind you the article was published in 2009 so do you think the sperm facials have went up considerably due to the recession? Gasp, maybe it’s $350 now!  Damn inflation

Yeah well the fact of the matter is there are 100′s of articles in and around the Internet that say spunk in your junk is actually really great for your skin…..

I’m pretty sure if I admitted to not loving and bleeding Mountain Dew (particularly Code Red) they’d revoke my Geek Membership and I’d be kicked out of my Guild.

Between us, I can’t stand the taste of the stuff but don’t tell anyone ok? I’d lose my credibility as a W0W geek if you spread that kinda news around.
