Beauty on a Budget
Wet n Wild hasn’t always been a brand on my hit list. Let’s face it, the packaging screams cheaper, the price makes us wonder how anything that costs less than $3 could be an effective cosmetic product, and our inner snobs demand we stay far away from it.
But you can call me wrong and make me eat my words about Wet n Wild because the brand does, indeed, have some hidden gems amongst all those $1.99 price tags.
Recently, they introduced a selection of six ColorIcon Trio Palettes for Summer. The Wet n Wild Dreamweavers Collection contains all of these trios for a limited time with a price tag of merely $2.69 each (prices will vary depending where you shop it). Some of these palettes are quite exciting since the shade selection is much like the Holiday ColorIcon Six Shadow Palettes.
Let’s take a look at some of the Wet n Wild Dreamweaver ColorIcon Trio Palettes.
I’m not of a mineral eyeshadow girl for two reasons. 1. Fall out….! Ugh anything loose is always turns into a dramatic application for me and 2. if I start indulging in mineral eyeshadows from various e-tailers I’ll be in a whole hell of alot of trouble. I already have enough beauty addictions! I could just picture myself with endless baggies and small jars of piggie laying all over the place.
I did indulge in a few LA Splash Eye Sparkles though as they are Buy 2, Get 1 Free at Cherry Culture.
Ahh skin tone adapting blush, lipgloss, foundation, concealer….I want skin tone adapting eyeshadow!
Seriously, though in most cases skin tone adapting anything doesn’t exactly work. The idea is innovative, the concept is way cool for beauty lovers who just want something that will fit them perfectly, and let’s face it our simple side is thinking how cool it would be to buy something that just works the first time, no color matching required, it’ll adapt!
Rimmel Match Perfect Skin Tone Adapting Concealer is the latest crazy to get my attention in the tone adapting world.
Let’s take a look!
Avon SuperShock Vivid Liquid Eyeshadow isn’t a new product by any means but for some odd reason or another I felt like revisiting them when I saw a friend using one recently.
Yeah, my mentality, as you may have guessed, was the fact that maybe these were a budget option for Chanel Ombre D’Eau due to their bi-phase formula.
Hi-ho, hi-ho off I went to locate these on Evil-bay since Avon no longer sells them….
Here are my thoughts!
