Beauty on a Budget
As you know from my prior reviews, geoGirl is actually turning out quite alright. The line will be sold at Walmart this Fall and is actually made for a younger market (they are targeting 8 to 12 year olds) but some of you have already tried it out yourself and are enjoying it and I know I’ve tested a few products out and was pretty surprised that a line marketed for little girl’s is actually quite nice.
I was fiddling around with geoGirl F2F Face 2 Face Moisture Tint SPF 15 and I gotta say, again, I like it. It’s on par with any higher end tinted moisturizer you already own plus it doesn’t have parabens. Sadly, I was sent a way deeper shade so I couldn’t get a perfect feel for the product but my testing did lead me to believe this could be a win.
Check it out and if you tried it do add your two cents in!
As you probably already know Milani released several shades of Marbleized Baked Eyeshadow recently (pssttt I got mine as far back as February when CVS began stocking them).
As I was testing them last week (finally!) I felt like some of them were comparable to the blackened shadows released with the Bobbi Brown Black Velvet Collection for Fall 2010.
If you’re on a bit of a budget and you’re one for wearing single shades of color rather than several at a time these might be your ticket to gorgeous Fall eyes.
I’m currently in LOVE with the new Hard Candy Eye Def Metallic Cream Eyeshadows…!
Oooo they are gorgeous. I tried one shade so far and it came out pretty brilliant on my lid but I have to test a bit more and fiddle before I review.
But do check out these incredible swatches to whet your appetite and feel free to tell me if you already tried ‘em and are loving ‘em too!
Didja know that Forever 21 has its own house brand of cosmetics called Love & Beauty? I haven’t been paying proper attention, blinded by all the damn accessories whenever I go into their stores, because I seriously never pursued their beauty offerings.
I’m going to explore them and tell you what I think starting with Love & Beauty Blush!
People, let me tell you, these old eyes need some serious concealing power because I simply don’t get enough sleep and the baggage under here is enough to take on my European Tour.
Occasionally I like going really light on the concealer particularly when I’ve had eight hours of sleep and just don’t want a ton of makeup on my face.
And right now, that lightweight concealer of choice is from geoGirl, a collection of products that are actually made for tweens but I figure my mentality is that of a tween so I’m safe.
