Now that the warm weather is settling in you probably should start stashing away those heavier, rich moisturizers and start replacing them with lighter ones.
The US market doesn’t have a ton of lightweight gel moisturizer options but the one we do have is a winner!
I wanted to dive right into this post and start raggin’ on the Ruby Kisses 24/7 Eye Shadow Magic Primer and how dupe-tastic it is to Urban Decay Primer Potion but than I got sidetracked watching the True Blood Season 4 Screen Test.
Jealously soon set in that Lafayette is able to work liqud liner like no one’s business! Boyfriend’s eyeliner skillz are the boss! He needs a little golden sheen on those lids like last season and he’ll be really workin’ it for Summer.
Btw I call dibs on both Eric and Alcide but still a Team Lafayette playa here! You guys can have sloppy seconds……like Bill or Sam! Thank me later!
Anyway, ’nuff about vampires, wolves, and men in makeup…
How about Ruby Kisses for managing to pull up a rather coolio dupe of UDPP….
I’m no nail girl but I took the liberty of taking a few photos of the new NYC New York Color Cosmetics Expert Last Nail Polish shades that are available this June as part of the Summer 2011 Collection for you!
German import, Essence Cosmetics, debuted at Ulta last Spring with beauty goodies that had sweet budget prices of .99-$2.99 much to the joy of our wallets.
This Spring they have extended their collection and have included a slew of new nail accessories so if you’re a nail girl wanting to keep things within a friendly beauty budget check out a few of these friendly nail goodies for $2.99 or less that are available now at Ulta.

I’m not knocking beauty budget because this morning I pulled out some of my N.Y.C. New York Color Cosmetics Extreme Color Lipglider Lipgloss and proceeded to squeal.
N.Y.C. New York Color Cosmetics Summer 2011 is packed full of fabulous beauty budget goodies that won’t have you breaking into your vacation fund to indulge!
Summer’s almost here kids! w00t! Any blockbusters you’re wanting to see this Summer? This morning I was looking at the trailer for Fright Night and proceeded to yell in outrage that Colin Farrell had more scenes in it than Ten. No fair people….this is his first time in a Hollywood flick (HP doesn’t count) , give him some air time plus we are all lovin’ on that rather rad Criss Angel look he got going on there (not!). Yeah, well, after seeing their clothing of choice for him I’m thinking we need to haul this pic back out again!
Regardless, I’m such a fond fan of the original I’m really looking forward to the hot mess of a remake, it could be good…maybe?
How about you?
Any movies you’re looking forward to this Summer?
Or better yet what Summer 2011 Makeup Collections are you hyped about?
My beauty budget side wants to peep Essence Cosmetics Sun Club Collection, it looks cute!
Wet n Wild Go for the Gold is one of the first Summer 2011 Collections released from the brand. I’m pretty sure we’ll see a few more little collection releases from them as we head deeper into Summer.
This collection is super small and contains one Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio and a Color Icon Bronzer. I’ll be reviewing the Wet n Wild Color Icon Bronzer in Everything Under the Sun for you today.
I’m not much of a bronzer girl as you know but the budget price tag and the need to bring you the latest and greatest in newly released beauty pushed me over into the realms of purchasing this one.
I tried out the new Avon Anew Solar Advance Sunscreen Face Lotion I told you about last week. This is one of two new sunscreens available from Avon (the other is a body version) that’s formulated with RepariShield which dramatically reduces the look of wrinkles and discolorations while protecting your skin from the sun with an SPF 45.
The high SPF value alone was one reason I wanted to try it out and of course the rather affordable $24 price tag for 2.6 oz as higher end SPF comes with a far bigger price tag.
I’ve been using corrector palettes since the dawn of time, no, I’m not that old (time frame of use exgerrated for dramatically purposes). I’ve always found that they lighten up my complexion and make it look more flawless.
The new Avon Professional Corrector Palette was created by Jillian Dempsey and features not one shade selection but two which is a bit unusual when it comes to corrector compacts since they normally come in one range of color.
I didn’t watch the new eppy of Who this week but I hear mermaids are abound in the form of Lily Cole plus let’s not forget Pirates of the Caribbean is two weeks ago with more siren action!
Wet n’ Wild takes on the mystical creature with a nail polish collection!
