Beauty on a Budget
The Elizabeth Arden Foundation Blender Brush is treated like my first born child. I love this thing. Yeah, so, it’s a sponge with a handle but dude, dude….it works wonders. I use this nifty little dodad to swipe and blend out foundation, contour under my eyes and blend conceal to an airbrushed finish, and heck I even have an extra one that I use to apply serums and moisturizers! It’s that handy! And the $15 price tag makes it a total buy and a half.
Budget friendly babes might like the even cheaper Target Up & Up Precision Blender Cosmetic Sponge at a mere $4.99 quarter the price of Elizabeth Arden’s version and gives you enough left over change to buy two more or perhaps just save that extra $10 bucks and buy some Cadbury Easter Eggs on the way to check out.
It’s officially Spring in a few days kids! So I thought I’d pick out a few Spring Makeup Pick Ups for at or under $10 bucks for ya! These budget friendly picks up give your skin lightweight coverage for a fresher, natural Spring look with pops of sparkling peach and bronze for your face as well as lightweight blush and a hint of aqua for your eyes.
And of course the best part is they are all under $10 bucks.
If you’re keeping up with the latest foreign beauty imports you probably know that late 2013 and into 2014 the popular Japanese Konjac sponge is getting some publicity here in the US.
The Konjac sponge is made from the root of a konjac plant and starts out life as a hard, gritty sponge that gets super squishy and soft when you dampen it with water. It’s used in Asia because of its ability to dislodge dirt, oil, and blackheads aiding in giving you a deeper facial cleansing experience.
Konjac sponge not only get your skin squeaky clean but also gently exfoliate your skin as you clean it. It also helps you use a lot less cleanser since it creates literally mounds of lather and foam. It quickly dries out once you’re done using it and this supposedly prevents bacteria and mold from building up however, you still have to toss it after a few months of uses. Konjac sponges are particularly great for those with clogged pores as the fibers of the sponge gently unplug pores!
Which is why you might be slightly intimidated by the $18 Boscia Konjac Cleansing Sponge so why not check out the konjac trend and craze at a cheaper price?
Here’s a cute little budget pick up from Tarte for $10! Tarte Positive Energy Skintuitive Lip & Cheek Set for gently flushed cheeks and lips this Spring season!
