Love Nordstorm Rack? TJ Maxx? Yeah, don’t we all! Scoring a great deal is easier than ever now with the launch of Macy’s Outlet Stores in New York!
Macy’s takes a stab at deeply discounted designer brands with their new Macy’s Backstage discount stores that will be opening in the New York City area this Fall. The first store is opening in Elmhurt, Queens (bugger, I hate heading to Queens!) for Fall 2015 and is about the size of a T.J. Maxx location and will be offering brands such as Calvin Klein, Fila, Reebok, Sunglass Hut and other designer swag.
The outlet store will also feature budget friendly brands like E.l.F. Cosmetics in their beauty section!
Four of the six planned outlet stores will be open by Sept 2 and the others will appear later this Fall.
I’m a huge fan of the Rack and I love heading over there to score deals on shoes, accessories, and beauty (I sadly do NOT have patience to look through the clothing racks though because they are so damn messy) so I’m looking forward to seeing what Macy’s Backstage Outlet Stores have to offer and if they will be any better than Nordstrom Rack.
Are you excited about the idea of a Macy’s Backstage Outlet Stores?
Starting this August Missha is now sold at Bed, Bath, and Beyond as well as Harmons and Face Values Discount Health and Beauty stores. HOW amazing is it that a Korean brand is now sold in a US drugstore!? I feel like the Eastern market is really dominating the Western one lately with many brands like Tony Moly, Dr Jart, Too Cool for School and many, many others popping up at stores like Sephora, Urban Outfitters, and other locations!
And now Missha sold at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Harmons? That’s the best news every! I look forward to seeing how Fall pans out and into Winter as I have a feeling K-Beauty is going to dominate strong! As a blogger that’s been blogging Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and many other Asian brands for several years now I find this evolution very, very, very exciting!
Korean beauty is huge at the moment here in the US and considering this is such a major trend it’s no great surprise that European beauty may just me close behind. For example Kiko Cosmetics is now has a store right here in the New York!

Good news Soap & Glory fan girls and guys the brand is making a new home for itself and is being sold at beauty.com, drugstore.com, and at the Skinstore!
As of May 15th, Soap & Glory announced it would be sold at these three locations and….
Drum roll please.
Their prices are going down!
Since Drugstore.com and Walgreens are one in the same entity I wonder if at some point we’ll see Soap & Glory at our local Walgreens stores! I sure hope so!
None the less I’m happy to report that Soap & Glory is alive and kicking here in the US. As a huge fan of the brand I look forward to lower prices and new products in the future!
