I briefly introduced you to German brand, Essence Cosmetics last week. As I mentioned in my Beauty News post, Essence Makeup is now sold at Ulta however it was supposed to debut sometime in April but lucky enough it’s already up on Ulta and ready for your purchasing pleasure.
Check it after the jump!
When I was but a wee Muse, in what now would be called my tweens or around my early teen years, I can recall my cousin Lisa being absolutely, positively obsessed with Noxzema. Remember the dad from My Big Fat Greek Wedding and how he thought the cure all to everything was Windex? That’s was my cousin! She thought the sun set and rose around Noxzema. I swear the girl used it for everything and blamed it for the crazy pure white, flawless skin she had going on. I imagine some of my fascination and love of Noxzema stemmed from her obsession!
Seriously, the girl would slather herself in it at night and go to bed therefore using it as a sleep mask of sorts.
Anyway, flash forward a few hundred years and Noxzema is still around, lord knows it’s probably be around in the glow of my dear old mum’s youth.
If you’re a fan of German brand, Essence, I’m happy to report it’ll start appearing at your local Ulta shortly!
I find it terribly interesting that indie brand Cake Beauty will be available at Sephora soon!
How cool is that?
Cake Beauty is the source of all things sweet for your face, body, hands, feet, hair, and just about all your other bits. I’ve long since considered it and chalked it up as an indie brand that was there but somewhat underestimated and never fully explored by the masses.
I do think it’s commonly known but in some aspects it’s somewhat new to many as well. It won’t be “new” for long once it reaches Sephora shelves it’ll be among many well known brands and will have it’s chance to shine in the spotlight.
Interesting development on the Beauty News front.
Do you know of Cake Beauty?
Are you a fan?
Never heard of the line?
In all my years of collecting Bare Escentuals I’ve come to associate the brand with Leslie Blodgett’s face. This has become something very important to me because I honestly can’t associate many brands with faces, it somehow makes the makeup experience more personal as if Leslie is my best friend, telling me all about the new makeup coming out from season to season.
Leslie and her company, Bare Escentuals, is joining forces with Shiseido.
