How’s the day treating you? Mine is absolute rubbish so far. I have such drama in my life right now it’s not even funny.
Anyway, a rather busy Monday as always after the weekend. Hope yours is better than mine.
I was browsing around and the Twilight Beauty website is officially launched. As of Friday they had a great round of flash going with different photos of the stars in Twilight and a few pictures of the makeup line but right now it’s back to being a simple “coming soon” logo. Damn, wish I captured a few screenshots while the going was good. On Friday the release date for the collection going live was on August 15th but now they just have a spot to slap your e-mail address so you’ll be officially alerted when it does go on sale. I’m ever hopeful that they keep the August 15th date as I’m impatient to see what the line looks like.
For further information do see my Twilight Beauty Cosmetics as it tells you more about what to expect from the line.
Keep yourself in the know by visiting the official site at www.twilightbeauty.com
I’ll bring you further coverage as it becomes available.
For now do share your thoughts on Twilight Beauty in the comment field.
Bobbi Brown has launched a revamp of it’s website w00t! I feel like I’ve been waiting for this my entire life…or maybe part of my life…whatever…anyway you’re invited over to take a peep at the new color swatches, how-to videos, “Chat with an Artist”, and tips and tricks from Bobbi herself. Best part of the site? User reviews baby! You can now review any of your favorites on the site and tell the world what you’re really loving (or hating, although I should hope you aren’t hating anything from Bobbi GASP!).
From August 28th you’ll be entered to win $450 worth of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics for each review you write and you’re under complete obligation to split it with the Muse should you win…hehe!
Enjoy two free samples and free shipping with purchases above $65….think we can convince Bobbi to give us a 30% coupon in celebration of the new site? Oh Bobbi dear…..
has the deets on the new Twilight inspired cosmetic collection. We already knew that DuWop was busy creating something special for us in the works that was Twilight themed but I don’t think ANYONE has realized how big a collection this is turning out to be.
Click it below to read the deets!
Yes well call me what you will but I’m a fan of Twilight so I’m excited to see how this line turns out. My original thought was DuWop would create a small selection of items to pair up with the new V Gloss they introduced earlier this month. Nope, not the case. It’s even bigger and better than that!
The beauty line actually consists of two separate collections. It’s actually entitled Twilight Beauty so they are taking this above and beyond a simple release from one brand.
Twilight Beauty will launch two different lines of cosmetics which will be entitled Luna Twilight and Volturi Twilight. The two lines will be available with the second film’s release this Fall.
Spoiled Pretty reports that Esmy Manica and Kimbery Clark of All About Beauty and Cristina Bartolucci, the founder and Creative Director of DuWop Cosmetics, are part of the development team behind the Twilight Beauty Cosmetic Line.
The line will include over 70 products!!!!!! Holy cow! That’s a brand all in itself so you can see how interesting this is shaping up to be.
Luna Twilight is inspired by the female characters of the books with an array of soft, natural beauty looks and stunning, fierce ones. Some products will include First Light Body and Face Glow and Gleam Metallic Mascara.
Volturi Twilight is inspired by the Volturi family crest. The line features Foreshadow Primer which is coupled with a loose glitter dust called Labrynth Shadows. These loose powder shadows are supposedly highly pigmented and are housed in stackable pots providing the ability to mix and match colors.
Luna Twilight will be available September 15, 2009 at Dillardís and Nordstrom. Volturi Twilight will be available September 15, 2009 through specialty retailers. Both lines will be sold at TwilightBeauty.com, the exclusive website for both brands.
I’m highly interested in checking this out for myself as I’m curious about colors, products, and prices.
What do you think?
Love the idea of an entire line dedicateto Twilight?
Not so much?
Tell the Muse!
Call me a beauty junkie but I can’t help but be excited about the new line of Victoria’s Secret Makeup coming out in August. Most every Victoria’s Secret you’ve walked into lately probably has the same sign up as seen below.
Most of the line was hit with a 50-75% off sale during the semi-annual and in some cases even before that. This big discount was to make room for the new line do out in stores August. Of course, much of it will probably be the regular line up of blushes, shadows, and lip products however the excitement for me would be the reinvention of the packaging.
This is the second time that Victoria’s Secret is revamping it’s packaging. I admit that I long since missed the silver and pink standard from yesteryear and was never fully on board with the newer, chic black packaging. Out with the black and in with the new, this Muse hopes it’s a good one.
What do you think the new packaging will look like?
What do you want it to look like?
Hoping for something new to be added to the current selection?
I’m not trying to get anyone’s hopes up and please don’t quote me on this but today I visited the Hard Candy site and came across this.
This could be one of two things. 1. It’s likely the URL was sold and a new site called “Hard Candy” is coming and maybe it will be nothing to do with makeup OR 2. (This is where you can get your hopes up) is Hard Candy coming back with a new line of cosmetics?
In this trying times one does doubt that they are redoing the entire line of cosmetics but how cool would it be if that was the case?
Here’s to hoping!
