If you happen to live abroad, lucky you, you’ll be happy to know that this Spring, Bobbi Brown is opening two new free-standing stores in Paris at 1 Bis, Rue des France Bourgeois, Le Marais, Paris and in Japan at 3-46 Kita-Aoyama, Minata-ju, Tokyo.

The Studios are an expression of Bobbi Brown’s unique brand culture, and a way for consumers to discover and enjoy Bobbi’s products and services first-hand.
The store’s main goal is to offer a welcome environment for the consumer to try products at their own leisure or with the help of a Makeup Artist. When visiting The Studios you’ll have the freedom to design your own shopping experience. You can gather with others at an artistry table to exchange tips and ideas, watch a video of Bobbi’s seasonal inspirations and how to’s, or you can choose from a menu of specialized services. The Studio stores will also offer exclusive, limited editon items on a seasonal basis.

The Communal Artistry Table is a focal point of the stores inviting consumers that are either shopping alone or with friends to enjoy an environment where they can test products on their own or have a on the spot makeup lesson with an artist!
The entire studio experience is to get customers more hands on with Bobbi’s products and also to teach them how to use the products to their full advantages. Numerous services are offered in the shops.
This is the first I’ve heard of this and it appears we even have one across the bridge in Jersey. Perhaps the Muse needs to stop in for a peep!

Just a little update on Victoria’s Secret Wet/Dry Shadows. These are finally making an appearance on the VS website and after trying to figure out exactly how many shades are available it’s finally verified. It appears there are a total of twelve shades! I’ve only been privy to about 8 or so. Nice to see they have all the shades listed with swatches now on the site.

I’m the first to admit I absolutely adore Twilight so of course a new themed lipgloss from the movie by DuWop has me in fits of joy!

Entertainment Weekly reports that DuWop Twilight Lip Gloss is a lip stain mixed with DuWop’s popular Lip Venom! Some reports I’ve read are saying that there will be an entire makeup collection themed for the Twilight film and that Robert Pattinson is already sporting DuWop Twilight on the set. You’ll see this gloss and possibly this collection, if rumors are true, later this year but I’m betting by the end of Summer for Fall Collection releases.
Count me on board for purchasing the gloss and anything else they choose to theme with Twilight. WANT! This could be one LE collection that sells out FAST!

I’m ever so intimidated by the Chantecaille counter. Hold me I’m scared. Chantecaille reps scare the beegees outta me so I normally avoid the counter and order online if I’m self indulging myself in beautifully prestigious makeup. I don’t own a ton of Chantecaille but the few pieces I do have are safe guarded by two very large growling dogs but anyway onto the beauty news of the days!
After a long, long, very long, pretty long, long, why did it take this long?, long time Chantecaille has gone live with it’s brand new website which includes an online shop with the entire Chantecaille collection!

Chantecaille has had a website for a long time but it was rarely updated and you couldn’t purchase anything from it. How pleasant that the site is now newly revamped with an online store for browsing and finding out more about the brand and making possible purchases. Truly this is a great day.

Walmart has recently expanded it’s cosmetic aisles to appeal to the junkies that explore the empire for a deal or two or three. The Muse herself has been known to hit up the Walmart cosmetic aisle for a steal and a deal on a rare occasion when her sister forces her to tag along on long expeditions to explore cheap warez and goods.
In further news Walmart intends to expand even further, the Deathstar got nothing on this empire! It’ll be a bigger, badder Walmart than you’ve ever known before!

Walmart may have your money but they want to keep it to. In a bid to keep customers clamoring for more Walmart has plans to expand it’s line by dumping many brands and bringing in higher end merchandise. But..but…but that’s why I shop Target!
I dunno if this really applies to cosmetic goods but Walmart has already begun revamping many 3,600 of it’s store base to include many big name brands. One can hope this means you’ll see Dior on your next trip to Walmart but don’t be too surprised if you don’t k? In the Muse’s opinion they should spend a few billion dollars on the cosmetic aisles.
