British supermodel, Lily Cole, has been announced as the global face of The Body Shop. This is first time that the brand has aligned itself with a “face” for their company.

Dita Von Teese, the absolute definition of elegance, recently launched her first fragrance abroad. I hope and suspect we might see this new fragrance around Fall 2012 if at all in the United States. I’m keeping my finger’s crossed that Sephora picks it up.
Also in the works is a Dita Von Teese Makeup Collection which has had me quite hyper since the original info started circulating.

Shiseido has signed Jennifer Connelly as the newest spokesperson and face for its premium skincare line Future Solution LX. I’m pretty up to date on my Asian beauty but I didn’t know that Jennifer actually already did a campaign with Shiseido in 2009 in Asia.
Shiseido says, “We believe that she portrays the essence of the Future Solution LX line perfectly and that her inner and outer beauty will inspire our customers.”
As for me? I associate everything Jennifer Connelly with Labyrinth.
Kate Walsh created an absolute masterpiece with her Boyfriend fragrance but I think some elements were against her when she created the fragrance though.
1. She’s a celebrity.
Let’s face we all have those moments where we groan and think, “Oh not another celebrity fragrance!” I have them and I’m pretty sure you’ve had them too!
2. It was her very first fragrance launch.
Not only was she a celeb but this was a brand new venture for her. She didn’t have a mini Paris perfume empire to build on and she was just starting out so it made me as a buyer even more skeptical.
But she made some super smart choices with not only the marketing (Awesome was cast as boyfriend I mean seriously talk about WINNING!) but also the overall unique idea of the fragrance.
Needless to say, I tried it and fell head over heals in love.
Flash forward to Spring 2012 and Kate has a brand new fragrance on the run, Billionaire Boyfriend. Let’s face it, who doesn’t want to have a billionaire boyfriend?
Kate Walsh is a pretty classy chick. I loved her on Grey’s and I was sad to see her go. I don’t watch Private Practice as it simply didn’t catch my interest much but I def feel bad I didn’t give it more of a fighting chance.
I wish she’d just come back to Grey’s Anatomy and call it a day.
Either way she’s a great actress and damn attractive too but…why the hell was she at Charlie Sheen’s Roast? Eh?
Either way, moral of the story is she’s really the least likely celeb I’d think of as having a fragrance launch. Yes, she’s famous in her own right and I’m not belittling that but she doesn’t really have the hardcore exposure most celebs that launch a perfume have ya know?
So when she introduced Boyfriend, I admit, I kinda shrugged it off as “oh god another celebrity fragrance!”
I should have taken it way more seriously because Kate seriously has some sort of hidden talent and nose for fragrance. Boyfriend is just so incredibly luxurious. I’m a fruity, foody, sweet type of girl and Boyfriend is kinda my sophisticated, “I’m a big girl” fragrance. It’s just that incredible.
Why I am telling you this?
Because as I suspected and predicted Kate has a brand new fragrance launching and I couldn’t be more excited, so excited in fact I promptly ordered it as soon as it became available at HSN.
Katy Perry has teamed up with Eylure to create four different kinds of limited edition false lashes. I’m personally not a false lash girl as I seriously have issues getting them into place but if you wear ‘em you might like some of these lashes created by Katy as they do bring the fun to falsies.
Katy’s been dabbling her toes in the beauty world lately with Ghd, Proactiv, and other brands…! Plus she’s busy creating her perfume empire with two scents one of which recently launched.
Come Spring she can cross false eyelashes off her beauty bucket list as she’ll be collaborating with Eylure to create a range of false eyelashes.
Unfortunately, I have no images to share with you as of yet but the collection is rumored to be hitting Ulta soon and knowing how cute, girlish, and fun Katy is I’m betting her false eyelash line will be equally adorable.
Can we get a moment of silence for her breakup?
