Bath & Body Works has launched their newest Spring 2013 Candles. Excited am I. By the way, everyone that mentioned how bad the City Collection Candles were, you were right. They are weak! The only one I really loved was London.
But hey, you win some, you lose some. This year’s Spring launch is a tad smaller than last years which I’m relieved about as I’m still burning through Christmas and Fall for fraks sake. Most of these are old favs with a few ne ones thrown in.
They’ll be in store as January 14 but are available online already. No sale yet but I’ll def wait for a 2 to $20 deal before hauling.
So yeah maybe I did go and order all the Slakin & Co. City Collection Candles. And so yeah, maybe I am kinda grumpy that Bath & Body Works now charges 2 for $22….but that didn’t stop me from hauling all of these new candles.
Well except one…
White Barn Christmas 2012 is a limited edition candle that Bath & Body Works released for Black Friday. Yeah, I know, what’s with all these sneaky little limited edition candle releases lately? First Pumpkin Carving now White Barn Christmas!
The fragrance is described as a way to celebrate the season with comfort and joy, a jubilant fragrance of sugared pine, sweet green balsam, crisp apple and smoked firewood.
Sadly, it’s disappeared from the site….! However, I’ve come across a variety of Evil-bay shops selling it (with free shipping) for as little as $10 so if you missed out on it you might want to snatch it up. I don’t really like it…! I’m not much for green, Christmas-y tree scents and this has all that.
I have to admit lately though I’m on this kick for anything mixed with apple and Holiday greens! Like Yankee Candle Apple Wreath is making my world go right round baby! Loves it.
Just thought I’d throw this up though for anyone who enjoys greener Holiday scents as you might have missed this or not known about it until this post.
Did you purchase it?
What are your fav Slakin & Co. Candles from Holiday 2012 so far?
I kinda dig Cinnamon Frosting even though it’s a tad artificial!
I was a little disappointed with Slakin & Co’s original Holiday 2012 Collection. Some of the scents just weren’t for me (have you smelled Thanksgiving yet? Ugh it’s awful!) however, I’m delighted that they have introduced several more scents that I’ll surely be picking up during the next two for twenty deal.
Take a look!
Bath & Body Works current Holiday 2012 Candle Collection isn’t tickling my fancy. I’m looking forward towards November when they will be launching more scents…
But for now I do want to try out the new Ulta Holiday 2012 Candles.
Maybe they’ll be good?
