The Muse is blessed with so many incredible friends in her life but she does so wish she had more that were into makeup that way she could debate MAC Makeup Remover Wipes.

The Muse freaking loves the topic of these wipes. She adores people that go on and on about how wonderful they are, mind you the Muse thinks they are pretty special too but….

It irritates the holy hell out of me that people say these bloody things take it ALL off. But…but…but how? I love them with a passion. They don’t dry my skin out, smell amazing, make my skin feel moisturized, and remove my makeup….

HOWEVER….

They do a crap job on waterproof mascara. So technically speaking they do not get it all off yet many a fan will insist they remove EVERYTHING.

Why jebus why!

I’ve honestly never had any success getting off waterproof mascara with these. I even seen one very popular youTuber say they took of MAC Liquidlast….she must be using a different wipe than I am or she’s on crack…no freaking way are these doing that unless I scrub my eye with it like it’s a brillo pad.

Damn.

That’s my two dollar rant of the day.

Love ‘em, just wish they’d do a better job with waterproof mascara and wish everyone who says they take off everything wouldn’t say that.

But you can say whatever you like in my comment box.

It’s ok the Muse will still love you long time if you say they take off waterproof mascara…although it might be a tiny bit harder to do so after you admit that but love you she will.

You already know this answer, Lush. About 98% of my skincare is made up of Lush. Toner, Cleansers, Moisturizers, Etc…..all of it is Lush. I used to be a Philosophy girl but after discovering Lush I’ve stuck with it for about 8 or 9 years (maybe more?!) now. Or just works for me and that’s what skincare is all about. Something that works well and keeps you looking your best!

You probably noticed the Muse doesn’t do many nail posts around here which brings me to today’s Musings of the Day!

Are you a nail girl? Do you love painting your nails? Going to the salon to have ‘em done?

Nope, the Muse isn’t a nail girl. She has a nasty habit of biting her nails plus she rarely paints ‘em! Gasp! Horror! I do try to make time for a mani but for the most part my nails are polish-free. I’m so jealous of people who have pretty nails and paint ‘em all pretty. Sad sigh!

It’s probably the one area of my life that I don’t pay alot of attention too. I’m all about cosmetics but I’m def not a nail girl!

How about you?

Everyone and their mum wants to change Susan Boyle. Susan’s hair, her clothes, everything about her seems to need a change if it was up to the media. After much pressure I guess she gave into it and she’s sporting a brand new look.

The question is what do you think of her new look?

I personally thought part of Susan’s appeal was that she was an average, everyday woman with the gift of a beautiful voice. I thought she had a bright, cheeky smile and quite a nice personality. I’m not against changing or re-eventing yourself but I think part of that stemmed from her sudden popularity and if that’s what brought about the change, I for one am a tad disappointed. Change should be decided because you want it, not because someone told you that you need a change! Being your own person is what it’s about.

Wanna Muse with me? I’m busy as all hades today but I sure do miss you guys. Since I’m busy missing you I thought we could Muse non cosmetic stuff today.

What? Cereal breaks up all the talk about cosmetics right? The Muse loves cereal, it brings out her inner child!

My fav cereal is Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch…I have a thing for pirates and the ocean….*shrug* I guess the Cap’n is the next best thing? Who knows but it sure is my fav cereal.

Coming up a close second would be Corn Pops…and maybe Sugar Smacks….I mean anything that has Sugar in the title has to be healthy right?

When I’m feeling adult I reach for the Raisin Bran….I’d never admit it but I do so love me some two scoops.
