New in Beauty
Korean beauty is becoming more and more popular with the US and now we’re also seeing many European brand such as Makeup Revolution sold here in the US (How soon before we can get Sleek Makeup locally?!)!
Today I’m happy to report that German brand, Catrice, is now sold at Ulta!
Catrice being sold at Ulta isn’t a great surprise considering they already sell Essence Cosmetics but it still very, very exciting!
Needless to say this is very exciting news!
Start shopping Catrice Cosmetics now at Ulta.com (and hopefully soon in stores!).
I can’t tell you how many times I was working on an eye look with a few shades of eyeshadow but ended up messing it up because my brush wasn’t fully clean. I tend to swipe my brush between uses on a small pieces of tissue. I’ll stroke it back and forth briskly to remove any excess shadow and re-dip into the next shade.
Sometimes this doesn’t always work out great especially if I’m using dark eyeshadows and sometimes I end up messing my look up when switching between shades. I can avoid this by just using separate eyeshadow brushes that works!
But I have to say the Vera Mona Color Switch Duo could potentially become my new best friend!
Yes, it’s true the Ciate Makeup Collection has launched! I know, you’re thinking, “but…Ciate is all about nails!?” Not anymore! Ciate is now about makeup too! Don’t get me wrong they’ve dabbled in makeup before but this Spring you have the chance to get your hands on a full line of color cosmetics from Ciate that has launched and become available at Sephora.
And boy is it cute.
Take a look at the Ciate Makeup Collection below!
Parian Spirit has teamed up with Sehora to bring you their popular Citrus Brush Cleaner. This brush cleanser is pretty special as it’s created exclusively for use with natural and synthetic haired brushes. I dunno about you but I’ve killed more than one synethic brush by using regular brush cleanser on it. This Citrus Brush Cleaner not only removes makeup, gunk, and even mascara, latex, and even acrylic from delicate synethic fibers but it also gives them a citrus-y scent on the dry down.
You can also use the cleaner on wigs, false eyelashes, and clothing!
The Sephora Citrus Brush Cleanser is available now at Sephora.com.
The back of my hand is sufficient enough when I realized the Sur.face Pro by Beautyblender would set me back $40! Ouch!
The Sur.face Pro by Beautyblender is a very handy mixing palette the likes of which I’ve seen and have owned before from a variety of Japanese and Korean brands!
However, the prices has me wincing!
