Walgreens has the new Milani Baked Eyeshadow Marble and Metallic Collection stashed into the general catalog display. I was under the impression they might be LE when I first indulged in December (sorry, I haven’t had a chance to review them or swatch but I’ll get to it soon!) but I’m happy to see they are here to stay. They remind me of French macaroons sitting there on the shelf like that!
Here’s the Milani Baked Blush Collection display at Walgreens I was telling you about when I reviewed these. I’m surprised Milani didn’t do a single stand up display for the blushes as it would garner more interest and consumers would be more likely to see it and notice the blushes are new. They ended up adding the blushes straight into the display with the older products. As you can see it’s stripped bare, most of the displays I’ve seen for the blush are pretty much in the same condition. They are obviously a hot commodity!
Here’s the display for the new shades of Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio Palettes for Spring 2011. Where as before they had these in their own display units they are now stocking them with the regular Wet n Wild Collection. Some of the shades are really super vibrant and fun so if you’re on a beauty budget these are a super pick!
Clean & Clear have a new Skin Brightening Facial Cleanser and Scrub available. This has a bright, sweet sunny fragrance and contains lemon, papaya, and caffeine to brighten and wake skin up.
I normally like the Morning Burst line so I indulged in both the cleanser and scrub to use in the AM in my shower. I’m more about dishing out the big bucks when it comes to skincare but these two products got me curious!
Aveeno Smart Essentials Skincare is a new selection of products from Aveeno that features a night cream, day moisturizer, roller ball eye serum, and scrub.
The collection is for dull, uneven skin due to free radicals, environmental toxins, and just a general hectic lifestyle.
I haven’t used drugstore skincare in a while outside of Asian products so I indulged in the Aveeno Smart Essentials Daily Detoxifying Scrub to see how good it is. Hey, anything that promises to ease dull, dry skin and give a brighter appearance.
The collection should be at your local drugstore now.
Anyone try any of it?

What the world needs now is another interesting mascara that mimics L’Oreal Telescopic and Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara because hey, we haven’t had enough of that already eh? Extra helpings anyone?
Ulta Lash Blowout Mascara (explosions, blowouts, damn mascara is so bloody exciting!) is $10 bucks and mimics the design of the above mentioned with a spherical tip brush that contains tiny spikes for capturing lashes, grabbing them up, and lengthening and defining each lash.
The result us dubbed a dramatic, “BLOWN OUT” lash look according to Ulta. I’ve never had my lashes blown out before so I obviously need to check this out.
How about you?
Love?
Leave?
OMG I’m so tried of these mascaras?

Lumene is some of the best skincare you’re going to get at your local drugstore in my humblest. They make solid products which perform well and the price tag isn’t too bad either particularly if you can’t dish out $50 or more on a moisturizer.
For Spring 2011, Lumene Time Freeze Eye Perfecting Treatment gets added to their skincare line. I’m always about good eye treatments!
