the Muse’s Gift Ideas: Sending Seasonal Zombie Cards!

Too Late
from SIDE FILMS on Vimeo.

Ahhh that was a great introduction to my current post if I do say so myself!

If you’re on my Holiday list you likely got yourself a zombie Christmas card from ThinkGeek this year. I don’t recommend purchasing these as they are expensive and come in packs of four only.

Which is why in honor of Christmas and the Holiday season I do so recommend my very favorite Etsy seller for your Christmas card needs (or any seasonal card need), tinaseamonster.

Tina does some incredibly epic homemade cards that normally have something to do with zombies and the zombie plague. Her shop is one of my first discoveries on Etsy many a year ago and remains a fond favorite to this day. She does a range of various t-shirts, stickers, and totes (I absolutely love her “Panic Buying for the Apocalypse” tote which I have two of) but I always go back year after year after year for her fabulous cards for various Holidays particularly Christmas ones!

These are some of her Holiday cards. She sells them in variety packs for as little as $12 for a box of 10 with envelopes.

If you’re a bit of a geek or just a fan of zombies she’s an essential Etsy shop you won’t want to miss!

Roku 2 XD Internet Streaming Device on QVC

Umm it’s not super beauty-like but heads up on the Roku 2 XD Internet Streaming Device that’s available on QVC. I actually just picked one up for a friend as it’s a nice gadget at under $100.

QVC bundles it with two months free Hulu Plus and it comes with an HDMI cable for $79.

I already own an Apple TV and I recently purchased the Roku 2 XD. Honestly, each gadget has some nice features but I do prefer Apple over Roku. One thing to warn new users about is the lack of a rewind/forward button. The old models had this but the new one doesn’t have a rewind button on the remote, I personally find it irritating as hell.

If you’re looking for a rather wicked gadget for a gift this Holiday season I def suggest this one particularly because the QVC bundle is nicely priced, has free shipping, and is available on a four payment plan of $19.99. I find it hard to shop for geeky friends as they are always up to date on their tech so this one is a great suggestion!

Enjoy!
