Rumors of blood, sex, semen, and even Gaga’s own DNA peppered the launch of Lady Gaga Fame Eau de Parfum. Just like the enigmatic Gaga herself, this launch was clouded in all sorts of mystery and rumors that had us eager to get a sniff of what sort of perfume creation this eccentric celeb would create.
Lady Gaga spend over two years creating Fame with Haus Laboratories. It’s one of the first ever black eau de parfume formulas. The innovative fluid technology is black, like the soul of fame Gaga proclaims, but becomes invisible when airborne.
Fame isn’t limited to an Eau de Parfume launch, it also includes Shower Gel, Body Lotion Limited Edition Soap (shaped like a black egg no less), and rollerball. The scent is built around three master accords that are dark, sensual, and light.
Does the Fame perfume live up to the legendary Lady Gaga herself?
Some title eh? But I really like digging through the Forever 21 Love & Beauty Makeup Collection when checking out. They always have those buckets that surround you as you edge towards the register in what seems like the never ending line from hell (why is F21 always so damn busy?).
I think they intentionally put all that stuff around to either 1. make super spontaneous sales or 2. to keep you entertained while you’re waiting with twenty people in front of you.
Palettes, glosses, oh my! All utter rubbish of course but sometimes, well only sometimes it’s ok to shop for makeup at Forever 21.
E.L.F. Studio HD Blush ($3) is a new five shade blush selection that quite resembles Make Up For Ever HD Blush. The resemblance is uncanny but the price tag, not so much. E.L.F.’s competitive pricing brings these in at a mere three bucks each.
I hurried to order four of the five shades yesterday because I feared they’d sell out super fast.
