Snow is coming down hard outside my window and 12 inches or more is expected but I’m having an out of body experience and wishing for the sand, the sun, and the beach with more photos from the MAC To The Beach Collection hitting up counters May 27th, 2010.
What’s the news today? Your dear old Muse wanted to say hey, how are you, what’s up?
I’m a tad behind on comments…eep! Like 400+ behind from the weekend plus older ones so just brace yourself while I get to replying. Sorries about that but it’s a really busy time of the year for me and I moderate comments so I can answer each one personally so if your comment hasn’t popped up yet just know I’ll reply soonish! Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to say hey, how you’re feeling about a new collection, etc…I appreciate the chat up and adore talking to each of you!
So I’ll catch you up on life, the universe, and everything if you want!
Mmm ok. MAC Pret a Papier so does not appeal to me, colors look kinda meh. But I gotta say I simply adore the promo model! I can’t help but think Kim Cattrall a la Mannequin right?
Dudes, I sweated Hollywood so bad! He’s the reason my best friend is gay. I so needed a gay BFF after seeing Mannequin. It was a matter of accessorizing! Kiddin’, kiddin’! But seriously MAC Pret a Papier really has that mannequin look and feel!
Here’s more deets and info regarding the MAC Summer Collection 2010 I spoke to you about last week. MAC To the Beach proves it’ll be quite coveted far and wide by beauty junkies. It’s looking good ladies (and gents) and I’m seeing a mega haul in my near future.
I admit I march to the beat of my own drum when it comes to trends and such but I absolutely loved what I’ve seen from Make Up For Ever this year.
Make Artist Pat McGrath used freshly squeezed shades of neon orange on models at the Prada Spring 2010 Show. Keep your eyes peels as orange eyes and cheeks will pop up at a few other big runway shows this season!
Jump ahead for an assortment of fab orange make up must haves from Make Up For Ever.
I was born in the ahem…err…the 70′s. So technically my age of music fell into the 90′s as these were my teen/tween years but like most things in my life, my taste in music was and still is as unconventional as all hell. My sister was an 80′s child and from her I learned to appreciate some great one hit wonders from the early and late 80′s, this was music at it’s best. I was probably six when I developed my first crush on Robert Smith and it’s carried through many a year, thank you 1980′s.
Mind you Robert circa 1980′s was fantastic but not so much when you jump forward over 20 years….it’s ok though, I’ll take him anyway I can get him.
The new MAC Riveting Collection hits the shelf in a few weeks and brings about that retro 80′s glam feel for me with a bit of rock n’ roll thrown in for good measure.
Not everyone can pull off MAC Riveting but I imagine half of us are going to have a bloody great time trying.
