He’s making a list, he’s checking it twice, he’s trying to figure out what he’s going to get from the Sephora Friends and Family 2010 Event!
No one is immune to a sale especially a massive sale like the one that happens at Sephora every year. Each year Sephora extends 20% off to everyone on their website and in recent years they have started to mass e-mail coupons to VIB members as well that can be redeemed in store.
Last year, was a surprise as the event took place mid October as normally it happens in and around November. I suspect once October 20th or so hits again this year we can expect to see Sephora’s Friends and Family take place which is why you should already be preparing your virtual cart!
I’ve already started adding things into mine. In most cases Sephora remembers your cart contents so long as you are signed on (and don’t clear your cache) so it might be a good idea to start adding stuff in, figuring out how much you wanna spend, doing the savings calculations and than having a head start to just click and submit the day of the event to avoid SOLD out drama.
Seems like ages away but believe me it comes pretty damn fast.
So today I challenge you.
What’s in your Sephora Friends and Family 2010 cart?
Fans of the Napoleon Perdis NP Set Makeup Line at Target might be excited to learn that the artist is branching out from makeup this October and heading into the realms of the bath and body world.

You’ve probably been experiencing a bit of slowness this week (particularly today) and lag time on Musings or maybe you’re having a problem even getting to the site.
I know I’m having a hard time logging in to post today or even answer comments as I’ve had to reboot my server several times this morning because of a heavy load on it. The past few days has been the worst because I’ve had various forums across the world hotlinking images from my site.
Basically hotlinking is embedding an image that is still served on my server. This means everyone is accessing that image on high traffic forums and causing serious lag time here or even in some cases bringing the entire website down. I’m already using all my system resources and paying quite a good deal of money to do so. At this point it’s either move my entire site to a new server and pay a higher host fee or just hopefully urge others to stop hotlinking.
There aren’t any shortcuts for stopping this sadly without causing havoc to my site and feed.
I’m telling you this in the hopes you might help me out. If you see anyone hotlinking my images please urge them to remove the image and either link to the original post or upload the photo to the site they are on and just source www.musingsofamuse.com.
This morning the problem seems to be originating from QVC forums, MUA, and an International forum however this pretty much happens alot everywhere including blogs that grab my images and hotlink them.
Thanks, any help is appreciated.
Sorry to bug you with this!
