Beauty Bits & Bobs
The Muse does so wonder how far are you willing to go for your skin? Me, I’d probably go far but not too far….
I recently came across Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair Cream and noticed that a 1oz size is $150 but that’s nothing get this a 5oz size is $500 bucks!
Do you think it does dishes and walks the dog for that price?
This is an age-defying moisturizer which contains something called Peptide K8. Supposedly it’s one of the most advantaged anti-aging ingredients ever. This is supposed to literally transform your face!
I actually find myself craving fine lines at the moment just so I can try it and see what happens…is that terribly weird?
Question is would you buy it for that price?
Jump ahead to hear my babble.
I’d possibly dish out $150 but I’m unsure I’d go for $500 dollars for a moisturizer. That’s a bit above my budget and I sure could think of a dozen other things to do with $500 big ones and it doesn’t involve moisturizer.
Ok, I’ll be honest, I’m kinda second guessing even $150 bucks….the most I’m willing to dish out for skin care of any kind is in the $50-$65 range.
How about you?
Would you buy Kate Somerville Deep Tissue Repair Cream?
What if I told you it takes out the garbage and gets wrinkles off your face?
Tell the Muse!
Just a few beauty reminders.

You come home. You’re tired, you’re hot, you’re skin is dull, lackluster, and suffering from a long stressful day.
Ever have these days?
Here’s the key to perking yourself up after a really long day.
Take your favorite cleansing wipes, remove one from the package. Now get yourself a sandwich baggie preferably one with a zip lock of some sort. Place your cleansing wipe inside the bag and freeze it in your freezer.
When you get home from a hot day, pop the cleansing wipe out and let it thaw for a few seconds, now wipe your makeup and stressful day off your face!
Ahhhh cool, refreshing. Great way to distress!
Too Faced has many of it’s popular makeup brush line on sale at the moment at greatly reduced prices.
Prices range from $9-$15 or so.
Not a bad deal considering they are normally $20 and upwards. I high rec trying out a few as they are incredibly soft and well worth your $$!
My sis is absolutely in lust with all things Donna Karan particularly Cashmere Mist. For the past several years Donna Karan Cashmere is her signature scent of choice. Recently, I found out that the scent is turning 15 years old. Gasp! Who knew?
DK created the signature scent out of love for the luxurious fabric because she adores it and designs with it, wears it, sleeps with it, and uses it all year round. The Muse can appreciate that feeling as cashmere is such a gorgeous, posh fabric and so positively soft on skin!
The scent itself is as comforting and soft as the fabric with a combination of sensual lily of the valley, vanilla, amber, and bergamot. The line itself is so popular (not only with my sister but everyone else on the planet) that the collection consists of twenty different products including shampoo.
Happy Birthday Cashmere Mist! Funny as my sister’s birthday is in August too…how fitting!
