Delish Bakery Steals and Deals @ Bath and Body Works

If you’re ordering something for your mum from Bath and Body Works (go now! There’s still time to get it in time for Mother’s Day!) you can slap these little guys into your cart too for a sweet bathing experience.

There are two Delish Bath Cupcakes on sale at Bath and Body Works for $6 each. You can choose from (or choose both) Carrot Cake or Sweetie Pie. Each is housed in a cute little gift box and tied with a ribbon, perfect for giving to mum (I’d keep it for myself though…eep how rotten of me! I can justify that by saying my mum is not a bath person anyway!).

If you’re ordering from BBW anyway it’s well worth tossing ’em in your cart to tide over your shipping to $65 to take advantage of the free shipping. I’ve tried them before and they are quite delightful! Nice price, killer pressie!

Snag ’em by clicking here or here.

The Muse has a certain dislike for Lush when they discontinue her very favorite products! Grrrr why Lush why!? Why must you cease to produce my favorite bath goodies? Why must it all come to end? Why? Why!

Thankfully Lush came up with a somewhat agreeable solution to the Muse’s mourning by introducing the Retro Lush line. This is where Lush “brings back” many old favorites that die hard fans, like the Muse, have been a missing! Thank the gods that they brought back Back for Breakfast Shower Gel because honestly the Muse couldn’t be held responsible if she ran out again!

The Muse remembers it well. She remembers exactly the time that Lush Back for Breakfast bit the big one. It was after Thanksgiving and the Muse had just discovered the joys of Lush one day when it popped up in her Amazon recommendations list, this was many years ago mind you. The Muse never got to experience the joys of Back for Breakfast herself but only second hand as it had been diced from the line up less than a month before the Muse’s discovery of the Lush religion.

However, less than a week later the Muse had scored a large bottle of Back for Breakfast from a Lush forum member in the UK who kindly swapped the bottle. Ever after that the Muse was possessed, obsessed, and mad enough to stalk Back for Breakfast down! By the end of that year (which wasn’t far off) she had gathered together at least 10 bottles of Back for Breakfast to tide her over with the hopes that this would last her for the next 10 years. Sadly, it didn’t!

On the verge of throwing herself off the nearest building the Muse pacified her love for Back of Breakfast and settled on Lush Happy Hippie, not nearly as good but the best one could do.

Why all this insanity for a simple shower gel?

Because it’s just so lovely!

With fresh grapefruit, lemon, and lime juices this shower gel was both tart, fruity, and sweet. It made the Muse’s hair sing in delight and made her shower experience a wonderful morning wake up call! Lush promises with use it’ll wake you up in the AM like no other shower gel and truth be told it does indeed wake up a girl and get her revved for the day ahead. That citrus cocktail of grapefruit, lemons, and limes really makes the Muse sing in the shower. It keeps her hair rather squeaky clean and makes it smell all fruity and fresh like too! Multitask, Multitask! Hair and body loves it!

I can’t begin to tell you how happy I was that Lush finally brought it back and now one can only hope it sticks around for a while otherwise the Muse may need to buy enough to last her for 50 years!

Lush Back for Breakfast Shower Gel, unquestionably Muse Approved for purchase! Get it! You need it, the Muse says so!

Loves, Loves, Loves It!

Beauty Discovery: Philip B Hand & Body Creme Review

The Muse recently discovered Philip B products and just had to share the joy! Philip B has an extensive line of products that cater to all parts of the body including hands, face, and hair. No spot left behind here peeps! I’ve been test driving a few bits from the line out this past week and I can honestly say I’m in love, with Philip B, hello gorgeous wanna go out sometime?

Oh wait sorry I did also mean the products, honest. Like the Philip B Hand and Body Creme, hello soft skin!

Jump head for the good word!

The Muse loves products that are multitasking. Take for example the Philip B Hand & Body Creme. W00t! Simplify my moisturizing experience and I’ll heart you forever. One product that I can use on my hands or my body. Loves it!

I tried our two of the hand & body cremes available one of which was the Philip B Cucumber & Blue Orchid Creme. Enriched with cucumber, vitamins A, B5, and E this one is fully loaded to tighten and strengthen your skin. Blue Orchid gives this interesting hand and body lotion a slightly floral smell but there is no question that the cool, crispness of cucumber definitely dominates here. The formula absorbs quickly and gives skin a nice, cool drink to keep it moist and nourished!

I also tried out Philip B Lovin’ Hand & Body Creme which happens to be my favorite simply because for some odd reason or another it reminds me of McLovin’ I dunno must be my weird and twisted mind, my mind works in mysterious ways. But anyway! This one is a shea butter and coconut oil mix which is enriched with vitamins E and B5. I like this one best simply because it smells so lovely, not what you’d think McLovin’ would smell like by the very way. It’s quite crisp with a hint of green, fresh and floral-like. This is a tiny bit heavier when compared to the Cucumber and Blue Orchid Creme which could be it’s base of shea butter so it’s rather ideal for dry, chapped skin, pretty much perfect for me as my skin could use the extra McLovin’ after the harsh winter! Likey!

All in all I think Philip B makes a rather great beauty discovery! The Muse never tried before and she’s liking what she’s trying so far. Next on my list is to get me some of that Philip B Chocolate Milk Body Creme, whoa!

Discover Philip B for yourself by visiting www.philipb.com
