New Features @ Musings of a Muse

new+features
Hey pretty ladies (and guys),

I wanted to let you know of a few new features on Musings if you haven’t already noticed ‘em!

Towards the left hand column of my blog I’ve added a translation device for translating pages into your native language. Just click your country flag and any entry with be translated!

Nifty right? I felt this was particular useful for the many hits I get from China and Europe. Hopefully you’ll find it useful!

Above that you’ll notice a “Sale” graphic. Click this and it’ll bring you to my sale page. At the moment it’s kinda small but it’ll get larger soon! All items on the sale page are items I purchased with my own money. I ship International as well! Many people asked me about selling items and I never considered it but I decided why not!

On the right hand side of the column you’ll see a link that says “Feeling Lucky?” when clicked this will magically transport you to a random blog post or review! Kinda a fun way to add a little variety into your Musing experience!

And finally above my header I now have a Home, About, E-mail, Press, Link, Other Locations, and Disclaimer button.

extrag

The Home button will take you back to the first page of my blog when you’ve become entangled deep into my blog and can’t find the 1st page just click it! The About section is obviously about your dear Muse, Click E-mail to E-mail me (Warning: I take ages to reply since Musings generates a gazillion e-mails daily!), Press is an obvious one, Link Love has all the links I visit and love, Where the Muse Resides or Other Locations has places that you’ll find me when I’m not hanging out here, and finally a Disclaimer button warning you against the hazards of listening to what I say hehe.

That’s about everything!

I hope these new features will make you experience at Musings an easier, happy one! If there is something I can do to make your reading experience here more pleasing do tell me!

Thanks for visiting daily!

Black Head Off Stick Review: Blackheads Be Gone….Maybe?!

Do you have any really silly stuff in your beauty arsenal that you swear by?

Black Head Off Stick by B & C Laboratories is probably one of my most silliest items that I stash away in my beauty arsenal and often reach for, I’m embarrassed to admit I do use this!

Picture+381

Muse, what the hell is Black Head Off Stick anywhere?

Picture+382

Well….

This little guy is made by those same friendly people over at Sony who bring you great electronics and lip gloss too!

It’s a Japanese thing don’t ask me.

But I’m just happy to have a little stash of Black Head Off Sticks. I’ve been through about 3 in the last year.

Anyway I forgot to explain what it was didn’t I?

Well….

It looks like a lip balm but it’s actually a stick that you smooth over your nose and after that you proceed to rub the area and supposedly this “erases” your blackheads.

Don’t ask me why I continue using this thing but for some odd reason or another I’ve convinced myself that it’s improved the blackheads I get on my nose. Ok, granted not those deeply embedded suckers that you need acid to remove…BUT the ones at the surface are easily removed by swiping this across your nose a few times and briskly rubbing.

It also kinda makes my nose matte and less shiny….and this is weird…but my nose kind of looks brighter and fresher….does that make any sense?

Prob not but I think when they coined the phrase “powder your nose” the effect would be similiar to what Black Head Off Stick does to my nose!

Is it useless? Possibly.

Am I convinced it works?

Yes.

Do I recommend it?

Sure why not!

It’s cheap as day old chips so yes I recommend picking one up. And hey you don’t even have to go to Japan (although if you have the means I highly recommend flying to Japan to get one! For cultural purposes only of course) to get it. Most Asian markets have these available and if not you can wander through my Japanese Shopping Guide and come across a few shops that carry this and it’s also available on E-bay for mere pennies.

The Muse likes it. Useless, possibly but I’m all for useless products!

w00t!

Tried this?

Love it?

What do you use for pesky blackheads on your nose?

Head into your local craft shop (Michaels, Jo-Ann, A.C. Moore, Etc…) and stroll down the woodcraft aisle, you should come across some of these cute, unfinished (customize ‘em if you want with paint, stickers, rub ons, etc…) pencil cases for $1 USD each!

Use ‘em to store lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows, etc….

Beauty Math that equals easy, simple, and cheap cosmetic storage!

Loves it!
