Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Ecstasy slipped by this Muse. I was blinded by the cosmetic glory of the Urban Decay Get Baked Eye Shadow Palette that I didn’t realize that Urban Decay had sneakily injected two brand new shadows to their catalog on the fly that are available exclusively at Sephora. But of course this is always something that gets me hyper, I mean seriously have you seen my Urban Decay Eye Shadow Collection? You haven’t? For shame!
Check it here.
In honor of my excitement about new shadow shades I’m all about Product Musing Urban Decay Ecstasy today!
Check it after the jump!
First off, Ecstasy is not Flash. Flash is a more true grape purple where as Ecstasy is more violet. But let’s keep it simple, if you love purple you’ll love Ecstasy. Particularly good news is the lack of shimmer, not good news for the Muse mind you but good news for anyone who doesn’t want a load of shimmer in their shadow. The formula is very smooth, shimmer-free, slightly semi-matte in feel but smooth and velvety. It blends incredibly well and gives your eyes a real knock out bunch of purple. It’s been a fair while since Urban Decay has added any shadows to their collection so I was quite excited to see a new shade. Minx is also a new shade which I’ll be musing for you tomorrow!
Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Ecstasy is available now exclusively at
Sephora. Check it out! Likey!

Musings all about Face Stockholm Eye Dust in Vanity which the Muse is loving all over at the moment. It’s a peach sparkly concoction that’s rather ideal for Summer eye looks. I think it flatters nice flushed peach cheeks and will pair up quite nicely with my
Dior Bronze Harmonie de Blush.
I’m kinda feeling peaches and bronze looks this Summer rather than my normal run of aquas and cooler blue shades.
What are you loving for your Summer eye looks?

The Muse listens, honest she does. She’s gotten numerous requests asking for a review and swatches of the new Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush. One new shade was introduced, Pink Coral, which was quite appealing for my Summer Blush series but I got soooo many requests for a review and a spotlight on it that I just decided why not Muse it by itself instead of having it become lost in a series post!
So here it is, as per alot of requests, Product Musings on Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush in Pink Coral.
With the barest hint of sparkle, Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blushes are sure to please anyone who prefers a non-matte blush formula. Pink Coral is one of the newest shades available in this formula and ideal for Summer-wear. It’s a gorgeous shade of coral with a tiny kiss of pink! If you’re desiring a sweet pop of peach on your cheeks Pink Coral will do the job well. Although the “shimmer” maybe scare you, rest assured it’s a barely there shimmer that’s very subtle and pretty.
The silky formula glides on well and blends beautifully leaving behind plenty of pigmented color so remember a little goes a very long way. Use the blush in it’s own pan or pop it out and place it in one of the Bobbi Brown Customize palettes to create your own unique compact.
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush are fantastic and Pink Coral is a beautiful shade to Muse about this sunny day! The only rant the Muse has is the blushes are only available in seven shades, boo can we has more now?
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Blush in Pink Coral (or any shade) is Muse Approved for purchase.

My pink radar is currently tuned into Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Gloss in Confetti. Loves it!
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Lip Gloss in Confetti was released with the Bobbi Brown Platinum Collection and in my opinion easily ignored since it’s a simple, sheer pink shade. But remember kids try not to judge a book my it’s cover!
The shade does look a tiny bit dull in the tube but on my lips is looks stunning. It’s a nude pink that gives me lips a full look while coloring them a natural, sweet shade of pink! Although it’s supposed to be a shimmer formula I got more of a pearl finish to the gloss which I normally don’t like but exceptions are made for such a lovely color.
The formula has quite a bit of tack and stick so it’s incredibly long wearing however I do detest the lip brush that comes with all BB glosses. Why oh why do they always split!? It drives me quite mad and makes me grumpy as hell! Aside from that one minor rant I think Confetti is worth checking out before it’s gone for good!
Great shade, loves it and Muse Approving it for purchase!
Did you haul Confetti?
Loving it as much as the Muse?

Since I was busy musing about KATE today I couldn’t help but bring out my very favorite KATE palette of all time to muse over. KATE Glamtrick Palette in GN-1 holds a special place in my heart and is possibly the greatest palette in the world for creating a smoky green eye look in a few steps!

Released with the KATE Spring Collection 2008, GN-1 contained a beautiful selection of greens to create a sexy, flirty green eye look that’s made my eyes sizzle with life.
