Laura Geller has started offering some of her QVC Today’s Special Value sets at retailers. The sets have a tendency to appear on QVC first but within a few months to a year they end up renamed and made available at retailers like Ulta.
Products included in the sets also become available in the general catalog or other sets which is the lead in for this post.

A reader had recently requested some swatches of the Smashbox Waterproof Powder Eye Shadow Palette #2 that came in the second shipment of my Smashbox FAQ’s 7 Piece Color Collection that was available on QVC because she had seen it on E-bay and wanted to order it.
These palettes aren’t yet available for retail but I imagine at some point Smashbox will release them.

Yesterday’s post sparked alot of interest in L’Oreal Color Infallible Eyeshadow, I guess we all can’t wait to see these on our shores. As of now the shadows are available within Europe and from what I read, they are getting some rave reviews.

A famous Japanese actress made Vitacreme B12 one of the most hyped up skincare products I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. The claims of renewed skin cells, diminishing age lines and existing wrinkles, and just generally making skin look amazing are just a few of the urban legends that surround this moisturizer or at least in my experience they are urban legends.
I’ve been using the cream on and off for a few years and recently had an e-mail from a reader asking me if I had ever tried it.
Damn straight I have and no it doesn’t jump rope and chew gum at the same time.
