Let’s take a peek!
I happen to be a member of the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler cult. Ya know, we believe that Shu’s Eyelash Curler is a gift from the makeup tool gods and that no one else has created a curler anywhere near on par with it. Another words, Shu’s Eyelash Curler is the end all eyelash curler…once you start using it, you’ll simply never need another eyelash curler in your life because it does the job and does it well.
Sadly, the downside is Shu has failed to evolve and still, to this day, does not offer lash pad refills. You’ll get plenty of people who proceed to recommend refilling it with another brand’s pad but people, the pad, is where the magic happens!
I’ve actually always believed that the pad is the key to an excellent eyelash curler. You can take any old lash curler insert a really good pad into it and instantly you’ll get amazing results as far as I am concerned. Take a crummy, dense pad and suddenly you’re getting rubbish results.
However, one eyelash curler does prove that it a combination of the design of the unit and the pad is the key to the ultimate lashes you’ve experienced.
Koji Japan Makeup Curving Eyelash Curler is a pure miracle to the lash curling world. Once you use it, you’ll want to write sonnets about its abilities.
Tarina Tarantino Dollskin Cheek Blush has undergone a revamp in the packaging department. I actually reviewed this product in the past and gave it a very hearty rave thanks to the incredible color (Parasol) I purchased and the sweet packaging but I recently got to check out a few more shades and I managed to fall in love for a second time.
It’s just a really great blush and one you should check out if you haven’t already.
Take a look!
So you like lipgloss but you don’t like having to pay $20 or more for a single gloss from your favorite brands?
That’s why the Holidays are a great time to indulge as brands package up glosses in an array of various sets that house smaller, minis sizes (or if you’re lucky larger, full sizes) for half the price. Mini isn’t always better in my personal opinion as I tend to run through them fairly quickly but you are getting variety here and that’s always important. Plus unlike powder products I find that Lipgloss Sets tend to stay true to their formula, ie, the formula isn’t cheapened or reformulated to fit the smaller price tag.
Here’s a few of my recommendations and picks to add to your Sephora Friends and Family order because 20% off plus the already low price tag of the set really makes things all the sweeter!
