Mally Every Color Shadow Sticks are 25% Off all month long in all shades on Mally’s website at www.mallybeauty.com.
These are typically $25 each but the mark down is at $18 during the sale. They are much like if not better than Laura Mercier’s Caviar Sticks! Very creamy, budgeproof, waterproof, and oh so easy to apply!
Now is a great to check ‘em out.
P.S. If you’re in New York the Jacob Burns Film Center has their traditional Sounds of Summer Concert Doc series tickets available. There are some great deconstruction Beatles lectures as well as a British Invasion rare clips series. I’ve already purchased 8 sets of tickets as there are SO many great features to choose from. And if you are a Jacobs Burns Film Center member you get a great deal on your purchase. I’ve been a Film Enthusiast Member for many years now and they had some great priority purchases on tickets.
Burt’s Bees Summer Grab Bags are back! You know how I’ve raved these in the past but was a little disappointed at my last order of one. However, I’ve heard some PRETTY great things about the more recent ones so yes, I will be indulging in one of these today!
What is it?
It’s a selection of 12 Burt’s Bees products. Why is that exciting? 11 are FULL SIZE products! This is a great way to try out some new Burt’s Bees and maybe even get your hands on something you really love!
P.S. Sorry about my called in blog this week. Or at least that’s what it feels like! I feel like I’ve been calling in posts all week due to how busy I’ve been in my own personal “real life”. I guess the good weather interrupted my online life a little this week Heck, as you’re reading this I am likely out with friends as I left work early today to see World War Z and grab an early dinner with the peeps I love the most!
How’s your week been? The weather treating you good?
Regularly scheduled makeup reviews are on the way! I have a ton of Fall 2013 products that I’ll be reviewing soonish! Hope you’re as excited as I am!
P.S. I caught up on Whodunnit on my way to work this morning. I don’t typically watch or like reality TV game shows like this but it just sounded like something I might enjoy so I decided to give it a go.
Gosh…it is absolutely a train wreck to follow. First off the contestants all seem like hired, untrained actors. It seems like they took them into a room, told them how to react and what to say, and started filming within an hour of the “training session”.
The mansion they are staying at seems massive outside but inside it seems so small!? While the contestants are running around trying to find clues it seems like they are doing so in only a small amount of space yet the mansion is supposedly massive from the outside?! Is it the Tardis in reverse?!
Everything progresses so quickly….it seemed like we jumped from the murder to the clues in record time and we never really got to completely see each contestants “guess” on how the murder happened only cut up edits of their statements.
I’ve hosted and been to many Mystery Murder parties and I don’t think you can honestly take one of those and make it into a 60 minute TV show (40 minutes if you count all those commercial breaks).
Hopefully it gets better but right now I feel like I can’t stand all the contestants….!
Might I suggest you catch up on the BBC Whodunnit classic hosted by Doctor Who himself, Jon Pertwee, from the 70’s which this show is copied after. That’s worthy of a watch!
