This is Halloween
I know it’s not beauty but I just wanted to let you know the Yankee Candle Halloween Preview 2013 is on August 3, 2013. That’s a Saturday! Typically they preview the Halloween Collection including the popular Boney Bunch Collection at the party and you are able to purchase anything Halloween related during this time.
I went last year and was able to get my hands on the newest Halloween Hanging Tart Warmer as well as Halloween related tarts and candles.
If you’re a fan of Yankee Candle I sure hope this made your day!
Hope your weekend was fab!
I’ve had the oddest luck with some of BPAL’s Halloweenies this year. They’ve all gone kinda floral on me. I typically haul hard during Halloween at the Lab because they release considerably more “foody” scents around the Fall than any other time of the year but I’m seriously having a body chemistry issue lately because they go more floral on me than foody….!
Punkie Night is another blend that went wrong on me this year!
The E.L.F. Devious Dramatic Eyes Palette ($9.99) is inspired by Disney’s Evil Queen from Snow White. This is one of three palettes available exclusively at Walgreens that recently launched for a limited time for Halloween 2012.
I recently tried out and reviewed the Cruella Palette for you and decided today I’d give the Evil Queen a whirl. She always had a rather killer smoky purple eye look going didn’t she?
Let’s take a look!
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is the creator of a variety of unique perfume oil blends and creates wonderful limited edition seasonal blends. The Halloweenies are a particular favorite of mine since Fall/Halloween is my favorite Holiday/Season.
I hope by now you’re enjoying your Bpal Halloweenies 2012. I placed my own order on launch and got them towards the end of September so I have plenty of time to enjoy them through the Fall and Halloween season.
Suck It isn’t a new blend by any means as it’s been released before at the Lab but this is actually my first time purchasing it for some reason.
Take a look!
My sister calls lilies “funeral flowers”. No wonder Lush named it’s popular Halloween Shower Gel after a ghost!
Ghost Shower Gel is Lush’s seasonal Halloween release fragranced with a burst of lily of the valley. I’d never thought I’d say I like the smell of lilies but once a year I do so haul a large bottle of Ghost and allow it to haunt my shower for several weeks. The scent is…addicting somehow.
With much disappointment I had to say Goodbye to Lush Ghost Shower Gel this year. Le sigh. Lush decided to introduce it in a Shower Jelly format. I really dislike Shower Jellies as they end up more down the drain than on my body or hair. Meh, burp, grrr, no like!
If you don’t mind spooking up your shower with a jelly you can haul Ghost Shower Jelly now, for a limited time, at www.lush.com
Are you a Ghost fan?
Prefer the Jelly or the Gel?
