Lorac The Muse sometimes doesn’t give you enough tender, loving, care. Please don’t take offense, I do so adore you but sometimes you get pushed to the back corner but have no fear you have my utmost attention this Summer with all your delightful baked goodies.
Lorac introduces two brand new baked goodies with it’s Summer Collection. Introducing Lorac Baked Matte Satin Eye Shadow and Lorac Baked Matte Satin Blush, I know, I know matte! Try not to panic! I promise we are all going to be ok.
Matte scares a Muse and probably scares about 99% of you as well. But I must say that both the Lorac Baked Matte Satin Eye Shadow and Lorac Baked Matte Satin Blush look utterly dreamy and possibly easy to blend especially since they are baked which makes them extra silky smooth plus “satin” is in the name!
I’m partial to the Lorac Baked Matte Satin Blush available in three shades for $24 USD each…I could cope with gathering up all three for my very own!
Shades available:
- Exposed (Peachy Pink)
- Hollywood (Bronzed Rose)
- Velvet Rose (Plum Rose)
It’s probably safe to say Lorac could probably talk me into purchasing two or three of it’s brand new Baked Matte Satin Eye Shadows as well available in 5 shades for $22 USD each.
Shades available:
- Chic (White)
- Drama (Charcoal)
- Insider (Deep Blue)
- Posh (Nude)
- Social (Brown)
Well, hello there Posh and Social! The Muse happens to be both very posh and very social (at least she likes to think she is) so you’re perfect for her.
All in all I think I like the looks of these even though “matte” is thrown around. They look quite silky and very pigmented! The Muse must get to Sephora and pick up a few for review. Keep it tuned here for the good word. It’s ok to admit that matte is where it’s at sometimes.
Wants ‘em?
Loves ‘em?
Tell me!

You know as well as I, that the Muse can b*tch herself blue about Sephora makeup being mediocre at best. But you have to give them credit where credit is due. For example take a peep at their latest palette:
Likey.
With the recent release of the Sephora Moroccan Sunrise Palette I do so admit to being quite excited. I didn’t indulge simply because many of the colors were in my beauty library already but I’m girl enough to admit that the palette was rather good looking to say the very least.
Embracing the same concept Sephora has now introduced a second palette along the same lines entitled Calypso Soul. Now the palette is of course part of the normal drum up to introduce new makeup bags, brushes, etc….but it’s also quite obviously the star of the collection. Made of heavy metal with a pretty design and beautiful hues of the ocean this palette undoubtedly tempts. I can hear the siren’s call of, “buy me Muse, buy me….” so much so that now I’m considering getting the Moroccan Sunrise one too!
For shame Sephora you’re evil for making me give into your lure.
Likey!
Good job Sephora.
Keep ‘em coming like this and you might shut me up in the future about how bad your makeup line is.

MAC Fix+ Rose? So wants it!
As the release of MAC A Rose Romance nears the Muse can’t help but jump around in excitement over the MAC Fix + Rose! I have a thing for rose scented products so I’m all about a calming spritz filled with vitamins and minerals carrying the scent of 100% natural rose water.
My inner Victorian lady so needs a bottle or two or three….there’s something terribly ladylike about spritzing one self with rose scented fix!
What about you?
Is MAC Fix+ Rose calling your name?
