If the promo image is anything to go by, Make Up For Ever Smoky Lash may be something to look forward to and could be added to the old wishy list!
Mysterious, dark, gorgeous lashes await you with Make Up For Ever brand new mascara, Smoky Lash.
Well..maybe all that doesn’t await me…I haven’t tried it yet so I’m not the authority on anything mysterious, dark, or gorgeous however have no fear I’ll be adding it to the review list shortly as I am intrigued by this one.
The mascara offers the standard fair of adding curl, volume, and length to lashes however it also has a deeply pigmented formula which was designed to create a volumized look to lashes. Be still my beating heart! It sounds almost to good to be true!
I am slightly weary of the brush applicator as it looks a tad bit messy considering the formula appears extra thick and gooey but aside from that it does look pretty good and the promo model is really selling the Muse on it.
I must have it!
How about you?
What do you think?
Not so much?

Hello my name is Muse and I’m addicted to concealers. I realize that concealers have come and gone out of my life the past few year at an alarming rate but I’m still on board for any new one I see that tickles my fancy and promises a flawless under eye coverage!
Currently topping my hit list is the Marcelle Concealer Palette!
Dontcha just dig concealers that have several colors? It’s like a little paint box waiting for us to mix, blend, and cocktail our way to perfection!
Marcelle is a French brand based in Canada so the Muse has to do a little homework to get a friendly Canadian to grab this for her but after she’s done the hard work she’ll be back to bring you a review of this concealer.
Is it worth it? Remains to be seen but I have to try it out for myself and add it to my rather obscene stash of concealers to finally lay to rest the matter if my WANTing need is really worth it!
Which products are currently on your WANT list?
Any concealers making the list?

Ok, up until now absolutely nothing from the ck Calvin Klein line has tempted me but now I have something to be excited about!
Read on for the deets on what has me so excited……
Don’t these look lush!? And they aren’t too badly priced either at $18 USD per a pot! I wants them all! Well maybe not all but I def have my eye on the gold one! I haven’t really dove fully into the ck line but I have to say these caught my attention in a major way!
Yes, yes I know I spelled Klein wrong in my picture…your Muse isn’t perfect and she makes mistakes too…she’s also too lazy to correct it! Besides it adds a certain charm to the post don’t you agree?
What’s your take on these?
What are your favs from the ck Calvin Klein line?

I saw Avon’s new blush in the latest issue of Bazaar Magazine (Avon in Bazaar? I know right? What the hell!?).
The blush in question is entitled Horizon Blush and is designed by Jillian Dempsey. A long time ago, in a land far away Jillian Dempsey was actually a leading firgure for Deluxe Cosmetics (remember that brand?) but more importantly, dig this, Jillian Dempsey is married to Patrick Dempsey. Who would’ve have guessed? Sure they share the same last name but I didn’t know this was his wife (it could be because that I’m in denial he’s married with kids as I still have that beautiful fantasy of me running around Seattle Grace in a naughty nurse uniform while he chases me around with a syringe in one hand and a can of whipped cream in the other!)
I’m thinking to myself that it can’t be too fun around that house. I mean how does she introduce herself? Hello I’m Jillian, yes my husband is McDreamy and I work for Avon. Ouch. Jillian, honey, quit Avon or let the Muse have McDreamy for her very own!
In all seriousness Jillian has some redeeming qualities, one of which happens to be the new blush she created for Avon! Thanks Jillian you aren’t at the level of McDreamy but you’re slowly gaining speed!
The Muse likes this blush because it reminds her of the Solar Duo Blush that was released for the Body Shop Summer Collection last year! Sadly the Muse only has one of the two colors released from that collection as she broke one when it fell off her vanity! Twas a sad sad day! But now I have these new blushes from Avon to invest my time (and money) into and maybe they can replace my gorgeous Solar Duo Blushes!
The blush is available in two shades of peach and pink. These are gradation blushes that can be applied for a sheer wash of color or build up for intensity. One end holds a light side and one end holds a darker side of each color.
So…these are $7.99 USD (I know, not what you’d expect from a lady married to the 7 million dollar man but hey a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do!) and I’m questioning how pigmented they can be but I must remind myself that Avon had shocked my socks off a few months ago with it’s rather awesome Cynthia Rowley Collection (Missed my review? Click here to read up)!
I think I want these (minus the cheap brush they come with! Thanks very much!). Count these on the Muse’s wish list! I’m going to give Jillian a try and maybe I can think up a rather clever nick for her while I’m at it hmmm McMakeup? McAvon? McBlush?

In keeping with the current them of outrageous colors Pop has introduced a beautiful palette entitled Lid Neon!
Doesn’t this totally bring you back to the 80′s!?
My god I love it!
It’s sincerely loud and tacky and awesome! The Muse loves tacky!
$22 USD for six sickeningly neon shades of yum!
The Muse has plopped it on her Wish List!
I’ve found myself deeply in lust with Stila Lipglaze lately so when I came across a trio for $20 at Ulta I knew they’d soon end up in my cart!
You seriously can’t go wrong for $20 bucks! Three lipglazes in various shades of gorgeous! Two sets are available and you know the Muse wants both!
I find these pigmented enough to wear on their own or over lipstick plus they are less tacky then a MAC Lipglass!

So what’s on your Christmas Wish List?
What collections have you already gotten?
Which are you really wanting?
What are you skipping?
What are you considering?
Your Muse’s ears are open! I want to hear all about it!
Lookiee what the Muse found!
A quad of Vincent Longo’s Wet Diamond Eyeshadow!
Are you excited? I’m excited.
I have a few of these shadows in the full size and I adore them and now two different quads are available with four colors each! Yay!
The shadows are normally $24 each and this palette is $40 ($32 with your Friends and Family Discount this week!) that my dears is a deal and a half!
These shadows are super glittery, super shimmery, big time pigmented, and practically perfect in every way (much like the Muse and Mary Poppins).
The quads come in two color combos which are Cassini and Roja! I’m curious if these are shades I already own because if not I’m all over these and most definitely snatching up some during the discount!
Tell the Muse!
With Sephora’s Friends and Family Discount looming on the horizon (I hear it may start this weekend!?!?) I was relieved to see how very small my wish list is!
So far this is what my list is shaping out as:
Lorac’s Starry Eyed Baked Eyeshadows
Bare Escentuals Classic Rock Set
Pop Day to Play Palette (this is a maybe)
Aside from this I’m thinking a few skincare staples and I’m good to go!
Tell me what you want! I’m curious what your wish list looks like
I do indeed like the look of the new Pop Day to Play Palette!
Count the Muse as possibly adding this to her wish list!
This new limited edition palette has 24 eyeshadows that range from eye popping to soft and subdued!
Lots of room for play in this palette and the colors are good enough for venturing from work to play, day to evening in a snap!
$42 nabs you this wallet full of fun but sadly it’s out of stock at Sephora! Keep checking back to see if it pops back soon!
I’m not entirely sure about the price tag at this point but I do already own one of the Pop wallet palettes which I really like so this could possibly be worth the high price tag We shall see!
