Natalie Portman has been named the new face of Christian Dior Parfums and recently signed a contract with the brand to represent them in an upcoming campaign, It’s her first time representing a fragrance/cosmetic brand.
It’s understandable why they choose Natalie as although she has a classic girl next door look there is also something very interesting and of course beautiful about her looks.

Last week, while sitting at my desk I had the TV in my office tuned on some Doctor show. Don’t ask me which one but I THINK it was Doctor Oz.
Anyway…
He was talking about various cosmetics and such with some other Doctor, lady, some chick who knows, I told you I was listening with half an ear didn’t I? Hehe!
The discussion got into lash growth stimulators and which ones worked and which ones didn’t. This lady he was with got pretty down and dirty about the whole topic and proceeded to call any and all stimulators, liars, oh excuse me she called them “fibbers”. According to her most of the over counter stuff you see is NOT going to grow your lashes longer however prescription drugs like Latisse will.
Now we probably shouldn’t get on the fact about how we have people dying of all sorts of diseases and we are worried about prescribing medication to grow our lashes, I dunno, this deeply disturbs me but regardless there are indeed products around that will grow your lashes.
Question is how do you feel about them?

Dudes, What up?
How’d the weekend treat you? Mine was fierce but now I’m knackered as hell plus I have a workload to choke on today but no worries I’m getting through Monday super duper fast it feels like. How’s yours going? Time for a nap under our office desk yet?
I got in really late last night so it was pretty much right to bed for me but this morning I was up at the crack of dawn to debate with myself whether I needed to watch Flesh and Stone or if I needed to fast forward through the 100+ hours of the Bare Escentuals Anniversary Show on QVC.
Needless to say both won out so I spent 30 minutes watching Flesh and Stone and proceeded to fast forward through BE episodes for another 30 minutes and finally finished off by completing the last 30 minutes of Flesh and Stone.
But…
The question is did you watch it?
The BE that is (or I’m all open ears to discuss DW ha!).

I’m trying to remember if I ever tried Avon Glazewear Lip Gloss prior to today. I could swear I had one a really time ago but can’t for the life of me remember if I liked it or not…hmm….that’s what happens when you’re a beauty junkie, you simply forget what you have and haven’t tried. It all begins to run together and you start experiencing sad little senior moments and brain farts as you try to recall product details. This is around the time they stick you in a beauty nursing home, this would be where all fabulous beauty junkies go after their mind is burnt out from too much product.
Anyway!

About two years old word broke in the UK that Penelope Cruz had a little drama surrounding her L’Oreal Telescopic ad which users felt exaggerated the effects of the mascara. Her commercial proceeded to pimp out lashes that were 60 x’s the volume and length. Mmmm obviously for beauty junkies we take all this with a grain of salt as we’ve tried so many products that promise similar and never really seen THOSE results right?
