Tarte BB Full Coverage Concealer is a new QVC exclusive Tarte Concealer that recently launched. For me, Tarte BB Full Coverage Concealer is kinda a retake on Tarte’s popular BB Tinted Treatment 12-Hour Primer but in a new concealer formula. It also kinda reminds me of a liquid version of Tarte’s BB Tinted Undereye Corrector or their new Colored Clay CC Undereye Corrector.
New packaging and a new cream formula.
Let’s take a look!
Serum foundations had their day in the sun but at the moment what’s really popular is serum concealers! I recently decided that I wanted to check out Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer because you dry eyes, serum, seems a good cocktail yes?
I’m really enjoying Bare Minerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer so the next logical step for me was to try out Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Concealer because I’m a Bobbi fan girl so it made sense to me. Well, that and I’m also a concealer junkie as well!
Stroke of Beauty Skin Finish Concealer is a new concealer that recently launched on QVC. I immediately wanted to try this out as Stroke of Beauty is actually a new brand founded by Holly Mordini who was Smashbox Cosmetics Global Artist for the past 15 years. Holly’s demo on QVC several years ago convinced me to try Smashbox’s old flat top liner brush. And it was life changing as I learned how to apply eyeliner with this brush.
Needless to say I always enjoyed when Holly presented on QVC as she always made application such a snap. I was quite excited to see her bringing out her own line of cosmetics out and was eager to try them so of course, as a concealer junkie, I started with her concealer.
Bare Minerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer ($20) is a new, permanent serum concealer which promises high coverage in an ultra light formula that conceals dark circles and other imperfections. It’s formulated with high-def mineral optics to counteract dark shadows and give eyes a more brighter appearance as well as hydrating humectants to leave skin nourished and hydrated.
Serum concealers are having their moment in the spotlight lately with even Sephora getting in on the game! It doesn’t surprise me considering serum foundations had a little bit of a trend over the course of the last few years. I’m actually not a fan of serum foundation as they feel slick and oily to me. You’d think as someone with drier skin I’d like serum foundation but nope, not for me! But I had to qualms about trying out serum concealer as my eyes are as dry as the Sahara Desert no bring it!
I recently featured Visee CC Concealer in my 10 Awesome Asian Beauty You Can Buy Now post if you recall. One of the things that makes Visee CC Concealer a bit unique is the packaging. These new small click style concealer pens with an attached puff for application are becoming increasingly popular as of late! Some brand new concealers like Burberry Cashmere Concealer feature the same exact packaging as well!
However, perhaps the packaging isn’t all that new or unique just on a smaller scale from products like Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer! I admit the smaller packaging is very appealing as the puff is smaller than the size of a dime which means it fits more comfortably and easily under eyes for precise concealer application where as Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Concealer puff is a lot larger in size and didn’t quite fit so well under eyes.
Let’s take a look at Visee’s version and formula!
