Nip + Fab Viper Venom Eye Fix I really like you but I’m wondering if I’m imagining how good my eyes look after I use you hmmm….
Every have those moments where you start using a product and you swear to the beauty gods that some miracle has occurred on your face or under your eyes? And you start calling all your beauty loving friends and telling them how that $2,500 moisturizer was SO worth it because you look ten, possibly forty years younger. And how it restored the glow to your skin and made you look oh so incredible?
I’m having that experience with Nip + Fab Viper Venom Eye Fix.
I’m unsure if I’m imagining it or this stuff is really working.

Covergirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation got me kinda excited as I like mousse foundations well enough although I did have my mishaps with Revlon Colorstay Whipped Creme Foundation.
This is a creamy foundation product in the vein of Covergirl TRUblend Whipped Foundation.

Cool Crush is one of eight new limited edition Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadows that launched this Summer. From my understanding the shades will be ONLY available in the month of May but I found some of them before that time and I think you’ll probably find them around a little after that depending on stock in stores.
They are actually turning into shades you don’t absolutely need since they seem to be very difficult to apply in my experience.
Cool Crush is lovely shade but I had hiccups using it.
Take a peek!

For the month of May, Maybelline has a Summer 2013 Collection that will be available for a limited time. Actually it’s through the month of May that this collection will be available at drugstores. I’ve already reviewed some of the products from the collection but I recently got an entire list of the items in the Summer 2013 line so I thought I’d give you a list of it all.

Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencils are new creamy eyeshadow pencils that Covergirl recently released. These eyeshadows seem very similiar to CG Eyeslicks but the colors are far more vibrant with shades like lime green and red!
I purchased these at Harmons for $5.49 each and noticed the display had about ten shades available. I’m assuming Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencils are being added to the general catalog at some point and aren’t LE.
I think some of these new Summer 2013 launches from Covergirl are marketed towards a younger crowd.
Let’s take a look!

Revlon & Elle have teamed up to bring you the Personal Style Experience. ELLE believes that personal style is just that…personal. Your style is constantly changing day to day based on your mood, environment, where you’re going, and what you’ll be doing!
The Revlon & Elle Personal Style Experience is an interactive video where choices throughout will help to determine a specific “style personality” of the moment that will be revealed at the end. Every single time you play the video you’ll receive a different “style personality” and be able to share it with your friends via Facebook and Twitter.
There are also fun monthly fashion and beauty suggestions for each “style personality”.
I just played it, my first time, and it dubbed me Flirty. That’s pretty spot on considering my outgoing, friendly personality. Plus my sense of style runs to cuter outfits! I tried it a second time and it still came up Flirty so I think I’m established now thank you very much!
Try it…tell me what your style personality is. Did Revlon get it right?
Revlon also recommends some makeup products to compliment your fashion picks like their new Revlon Lash Potion™ Volume and Length Mascara for fluttery, flirty lashes and Revlon® Core Nail Enamel in Trendy, a playful mint green!
Jump on Revlon’s Facebook Page and find out your style personality using interactive video and tell me what your suggestion is! Did Revlon get it right? Which products did Revlon suggest you use to go along up your look?
Looking forward to hearing what your style personality is and if the interactive video got it right!

Covergirl Clean Glow Blusher is another of Covergirl’s new Summer offerings. It looks vaguely familiar to me but I don’t think CG has introduced this before but feel free to correct me because as you know some of the Summer 2013 product releases are actually repackaged repromotes.
So far the Cover Girl Clean Glow Blusher is actually the only product I liked.

I know, I know why am I reviewing Almay Longwear & Waterproof Gentle Eye Makeup Remover after last week’s fiasco with the Almay Eye Makeup Remover Pads right?
Well, I did purchase these together so I thought that lightening wouldn’t strike me twice. Thus I decided to try this formula in the hopes it would be better than the pads.
I’m unsure if Almay has every offered bottled eye makeup remover before. I honestly can say I don’t recall it and considering they have new displays popping up with a variety of eye makeup removers perhaps this in fact a new product. But feel free to correct me if isn’t as after all those pads were merely repackaged as I learned. Oh woe is me.

Cover Girl Flamed Out Mascara just came out and promises maximizing volume in a waterproof formula. Being a long time hater of most all Covergirl mascaras I had hopes the Flamed Out Mascara formula would be a game changer.

Maybelline Pure BB Mineral Watergel has gotten its fair share of raves upon its release in Japan earlier this Spring. I really liked the original Maybelline Pure BB Mineral formula so I curious about BB Watergel formula.
I’m glad curiosity got the better of me as I really like this.

I recently picked up a little packet of Simple Eye Make Up Remover Pads and fell in love a little. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a brand that created little makeup remover pads just for your eyes. Granted, Almay and a variety of brands make a similar product but I thought it was rather novel that these were housed in a facial wipe style packaging with a quilted design!
Cute!

Occasionally comical products pass by my desk and Covergirl + Olay Eye Rehab 2 in 1 Concealer is one of those products. Seriously, this is a product that makes me laugh, shake my head, and ask “Why!?”
At first I was quite excited about this. It was a concealer with a hydrating serum built right in! It comes in a small pump style bottle with a helix design that shows the concealer swirled with a creamy serum. The idea and concept seemed great.
So why was it so funny?

Covergirl Smoochies Lip Balm is a new variation on Covergirl Lipslicks that are available this Summer. I’m not really sure why they needed to go here as we already have Lipslicks and I’m not seeing much difference in the two formulas.
But this isn’t really the first product that Covergirl relaunched this season. Their new Creme Foundation and Shadow Pencils are also very similiar releases in new packaging.
Shrug…
However, if you like lip balms these might be worth exploring.
Here’s my review and thoughts.

Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pots are new single eyeshadows that the brand introduced for Summer 2013. These are available in twelve shades and are $3.49 at Harmons.
I don’t think Covergirl has done a single shadow pot before have they? I picked up a few on a whim as who knows they might prove good.
