Occasionally comical products pass by my desk and Covergirl + Olay Eye Rehab 2 in 1 Concealer is one of those products. Seriously, this is a product that makes me laugh, shake my head, and ask “Why!?”
At first I was quite excited about this. It was a concealer with a hydrating serum built right in! It comes in a small pump style bottle with a helix design that shows the concealer swirled with a creamy serum. The idea and concept seemed great.
So why was it so funny?

Covergirl Smoochies Lip Balm is a new variation on Covergirl Lipslicks that are available this Summer. I’m not really sure why they needed to go here as we already have Lipslicks and I’m not seeing much difference in the two formulas.
But this isn’t really the first product that Covergirl relaunched this season. Their new Creme Foundation and Shadow Pencils are also very similiar releases in new packaging.

Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pots are new single eyeshadows that the brand introduced for Summer 2013. These are available in twelve shades and are $3.49 at Harmons.
I don’t think Covergirl has done a single shadow pot before have they? I picked up a few on a whim as who knows they might prove good.
Take a look!

Some of Covergirl’s newest Summer offerings feel very retro. Covergirl Cleaned Whipped Creme Foundation is a perfect example of this as remember the old TRUblend Whipped Foundation I loved so much? Seems the same concept right?

Covergirl Flamed Out Shadow Pencils are a new range of chubby colored pencils that are launching in drugstores for Summer 2013. These quite remind me of Covergirl Eye Slicks which I’m unsure are even available anymore (Sorry, I don’t pay too much attention to CG’s offerings so I could be completely old school with the Eye Slicks reference).
These are available in ten shades and were $5.49 at Harmons. They had some tricked out colors which really sparked my interest like a gorgeous olive green and a flaming red!
