Do not want your silly subliminal messages e-mails. They piss me off.
k, thanks!
Seriously, they make me pissy when I get an e-mail with sale info that says “Do Not Share Me”. You’re trying to hard to be cute. Either that or you think we’re all stupid enough to NOT share your topic secret coupon code which 100,000 other people already know about. Oooo harvesting the power of subliminal messages in a not so subtle way. Bright!
Do not want dude, do not want.
Also please, stop sending “We Miss You” E-mails seconds after I load your website…..cookies is bad. I eats them for breakfast with milk! Imma block your cookies soon!
Matte, a punishable finish if ever there was one especially on lips.
I can’t personally pull it off but if matte’s your bag baby and you’re on a budget the new E.L.F. Studio Matte Lip Color might lighten up your life.
This chubby little pencil is $3 bucks and has an easy to use twist up design with a formula that’s rich in Vitamin A, C & E plus a promise of a texture that moisturizes and hydrates lips with a matte finish.
Shades Available:
Coral
Natural
Tea Rose
Praline
With a shade line up like that looked like they knew not alot of us would be interested….
I WOULD however dig a formula like the one the Clinique Chubby Sticks sports, I’d totally buy a three buck variation! Get on that E.L.F.!
Happy Spring (and Summer) from E.L.F. Cosmetics! E.L.F. has launched a range of various palettes and other makeup goodies at Target for Spring/Summer which should be on shelves now or starting to appear on shelves.
If you’re on a budget these kits will set you back a mere $4.99 each!
You might not yet be thinking about it but you’ll soon be hauling out your TM (tinted moisturizer) when the Spring weather hits. I seem to wear TM alot in Spring dunno why but I’m guessing it has something to do with wanting to embrace a more lighter makeup look after a dreadful Winter filled with thicker base products!
E.L.F. Studio Tinted Moisturizer is the newest offering from the brand and a mere $3. Does it live up to say legendary TM’s such as Laura Mercier?
Mmm having a little bit of bad luck with E.L.F. lately haven’t I? My last few purchases have been a real miss sadly but I’m still actively trying to find the best budget picks from the brand.
E.L.F. Cosmetics Eyelid Primer a buck….we taking bets on whether I’ll love it or leave it? Who’s in?
E.L.F. has a new Complete Coverage Concealer Palette for $3. I have to admit that I do believe concealer is a splurge item. I’d give away vital organs for a concealer that works well at making me look fresher and more flawless. I suffer from puffiness under my eyes, minor fine lines, and a bit of darkness so a great concealer, for me, is worth its weight in gold.
However, from time to time I like checking out budget concealers because you honestly never know when you might strike gold such is the case with Maybelline Dream Mousse Concealer, that stuff is pure, solid gold concealer joy. Sigh but finds like this are rare indeed.
So maybe E.L.F. Studio Complete Coverage Concealer might be another winner?
I like keeping a small spritz bottle of MAC Brush Cleanser on hand for quickly cleaning brushes in between color changes. I basically mist the brush, wipe it on a paper towel, and proceed to do a color change. I started doing this after using Sephora Brush Wipes for a long time, these were basically wipes you could use to wipe down brushes in between uses.
If you’re on a bit of a beauty budget you can do the same with $3 E.L.F. Studio Daily Brush Cleaner.
The new E.L.F. Conditioning Lip Balm has hit E.L.F.’s website. Seems like we were awaiting its arrival for far too long eh? Anyone order it? Some of the shades sold out way fast so I’m guessing its quite the popular little item.
I ordered two shades which arrived late last week. I’ve been mucking around with them for a few days so I thought it was about time to tell you my thoughts.
Ahhh the great debate. Should you indulge in the E.L.F. Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette or shouldn’t you? 32 Eyeshadows, sponge applicator, mirror, nice slim compact, $5 buck price tag….sounds dreamy right? Where could you possibly go wrong indulging since the price isn’t too bad….
This year E.L.F. has two of these limited edition palettes available for the Holidays. The one I’ll be reviewing here today is the mini version which includes 32 shadows for $5 bucks and there’s another, which I didn’t purchase, that includes 100 eyeshadows for $10 bucks.
First off, these are obviously way popular because they are sold out however E.L.F. is allowing orders for when they do come back in stock. Secondly, I purchased mine on a sheer whim because I know alot of people wanted to hear about it, see photos, etc…prior to purchasing it for themselves. And thirdly, I am a bit of a makeup snob and palettes like this don’t always garner my love and attention. Slapping 100′s of eyeshadow into a palette can prove great particularly from brands like Urban Decay, hey bring that on, but present me with one from E.L.F. and I’m naturally a little wary about the quality.
Let’s have a look and see if this bad boy lives up to it’s “professional status” as dubbed by E.L.F.
I’m always on the look out for great blending brushes. I love my MAC 224 but I cheat from time to time to see what else is out there. In the case of budget beauty, E.L.F. has some surprisingly good offerings in the brush world.
They recently introduced a Mineral Brush Collection that’s 100% Cruelty Free, I picked up the blending brush on a whim when perusing the new Fall Collection.
E.L.F. Cosmetics has several new kits which feature a smoky eye theme for $5. The kits include everything you need to create the perfect traditional smoky eye look (black) or a brown smoky eye.
The sets each include:
E.L.F. Eyeshadow Trio
E.L.F. Brightening Eyeliner
E.L.F. Mechanical Eye Lash Curler
E.L.F. Professional Eye Shadow Brush
E.L.F. Lengthening & Defining Mascara
At $5 you’re paying a buck each per an item in the set. Not bad eh? I do find E.L.F. products hit or miss in most cases but I still like to try things out to see what might be a winner and what might be a big old FAIL.
I purchased the E.L.F. Essentials Eyes Get The Look Bombshell Brown because I’m really into smoky brown looks lately thanks to the Urban Decay Naked Palette plus it seems interesting enough for my Beauty on a Budget category.
