L’Oreal Jennifer’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick or J Lo’s Red is one of several new red lipsticks that launched with the L’Oreal Private Collection Pure Reds. Each of the reds represent one of L’Oreal’s past celebrity and model ambassadors.
The collection was created so that you could easily purchase a perfect shade of red lipstick for your skin tone, hair, and eye color.
Let’s take a look at L’Oreal Jennifer’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick.
L’Oreal Because You’re Worth It Red Colour Rich Lipstick recently launched with the Collection Private Pure Reds Lipstick Collection.
L’Oreal Because You’re Worth It Red Colour Rich Lipstick is actually one of the only shades from this collection that isn’t inspired by a celebrity or model ambassador! It’s a gorgeous, vibrant cherry red with a matte finish that’s sure to please red lipsticks lovers!
L’Oreal Doutzen’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick is one of several new lipsticks that launched in the L’Oreal Collection Exclusive Pure Reds Lipstick Collection.
As you know L’Oreal curated a collection of red lipsticks in this release inspired by present and pass celebrity and model ambassadors. Doutzen’s Red is inspired by Dutch model and actress Doutzen Kroes. Technically, like Eva’s Red, Doutzen’s Red isn’t QUITE red but more orange. It didn’t surprise me though as Doutzen’s blonde hair and sunny skin plus her crystal blue eyes allows her to get away with such a fun, vibrant shade of color.

L’Oreal Eva’s Red Colour Riche Lipstick is a custom shade of lipstick inspired by Eva Longoria that makes an appearance in the new L’Oreal Collection Private Pure Reds Lipstick Collection.
L’Oreal carefully curated the Pure Reds Lipstick Collection with shades of red inspired by some of their current and past celebrity and model ambassadors. Each shade was created to flatter a different skin tone, hair, and eye color which in turn enables you to purchase your perfect shade of red lipstick.
I happen to be of the mentality that you should never limit yourself when it comes to color cosmetics! If you like, wear it! I don’t let any skin tone rules dictate whether or not I should or shouldn’t wear neon pink eyeshadow should I please. I do have exceptions to that little rule though and it comes in the form of red lipstick. Red lipstick happens to be like snowflakes, no two are a like. It’s a shade I delight in and put plenty of fear in as sometimes I feel like a clown when I’m wearing it. I do feel that some reds are better on me than others so in this case I tend to navigate to warmer shades of reds versus cooler, blue based ones. Do I limit myself here? Perhaps! But for me, red lipstick is the only exception I have when it comes to color and I tend to carefully select shades that look best on my skin tone.
This isn’t to say you should ever limit yourself! But I personally like the idea of a collection of red lipsticks with models who represent a range of different skin tones which helps me considerably when selecting my perfect shade of red!
The L’Oreal Collection Private Pure Reds Lipstick Collection arrives in the US just time for Spring 2015. This collection features nine shades of custom red lipstick based upon L’Oreal celebrity and model ambassadors from the past and present. Each L’Oreal Colour Riche Red Lipstick shade represents a different skin tone enabling you to choose your perfect shade of red.
The collection is a follow up to last year’s Collection Privee Colour Riche Lipstick launch which was all about the perfect shade of nude lipstick. Last year, the collection only consisted of six shades so this year we are getting a good deal of more shades to try out. I don’t believe this collection is limited edition but don’t quote me. It is available right now at Walgreens which state it as “exclusively ours” but reports from reader’s state that they have seen the collection at other drugstores.
The L’Oreal Collection Private Pure Reds Lipsticks did get a UK launch earlier this year but not all the shades we are seeing here in the us. The nine shades of red lipstick are inspired by Blake Lively, Liya Kebede, Freida Pinto, Julianne Moore, Doutzen Kroes, Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria, and Zoe Saldana as well as one additional shade titled Because You’re Worth It Red.
