Heads up matte lipstick lovers you’re sure to be excited about the new Maybelline Creamy Mattes by Color Sensational Lipsticks for Fall 2014!
Available in nine shades the new Creamy Matte Lipstick Collection popped up recently at Harmons (I’ll review the shades I picked up shortly) so they should be launching soon at more mainstream drugstores shortly.
The Maybelline Fashion Rocks Live Fall 2014 limited edition collection is popping up in stores now. This limited edition Fall 2014 Collection celebrates Fashion Rocks which is an annual international charity fundraiser event that debuts on CBS on September 9th.
The Maybelline Fashion Rocks Collection is broken into four looks which include Indie Princess, Rock Goddess, Urban Attitude, and Sultry Siren. The collections all feature repromoted shades for eyes, lips, and nails. It’s actually a nice collection because it brought to my attention some very nice shades of Maybelline Sensational Lipstick shades I never tried before.
Take a look!
Maybelline Crean Express Miracle Water is exclusive to Japan but we do have a fair few of the Clean Express products here in the US in a similar formulation. A few years ago we had a rather big Cleansing Water crazy going on here in the US with major players like NARS and MAC creating their own varations of cleansing water but the trend died out rather quickly.
Cleansing water is definitely the lazy girl or guy’s guide to quickie makeup removal on the go. For a long time I was a mega fan of Mandom’s formula especially when I got home late and just didn’t want to sit down and do my massive nightly skincare regime. Cleansing waters are just so great for quickie makeup removal so you can get to bed super fast. Or even you’re one for double cleansing they are great for removing a majority of makeup and you can of course, follow up with another cleanser to remove the rest of the gunk and makeup they may have missed because lord knows most formulas don’t always get every single last bit of makeup from your face!
A few years ago Maybelline unleashed their Cleansing Express products on the world and one of the items in that release was the Maybelline Clean Express The Flash Clean Makeup Removing Lotion. It isn’t quite the same as this Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Water but if you’re interested in trying it out, it is more readily available at drugstores versus waiting for airmail, online shopping, etc…
Maybelline Unstoppable Eyeliner was re-released alongside Maybelline Doll Eyes Mascara at drugstores for Fall 2014 and having never tried the formula before I decided to grab up one to try.
Maybelline markets this as a new eyeliner with a waterproof, smudgeproof formula. Having never tried it before I’m not sure what exactly has changed about it. Was the old one not waterproof!?
I can’t really say what different about the repromoted formula but I can share with you what I think of the new formulated version!
Maybelline Great Lash Doll Mania Mascara is a new addition to the Great Lash Mascara family that brings together a curved brush and a formula to give you fluttery, doll-like lashes.
I’ll be honest and say that Maybelline Great Lash Mascara anything has never proved a good experience for me! Great Lash has such a huge, massive cult following but I’ve never understood the hype in the least. It’s actually one of the very few mascaras that smears and smudges all over my eyes and also does not in the way of drama.
But with the new crazy of “manga style” lashes hitting the beauty air waves lately you can imagine I was intrigued to try out Maybelline Great Lash Doll Mania and with such a close release behind the L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara one wonders how the two compare!
