Petal Rebel and Oh Orchid! are two, limited edition Maybelline Baby Lips Buds Lip Balm shades that are launching for Spring 2015.
Whether you’re a fan or not so much a fan Maybelline has a knack for drawing us all in with each brand new release of their Baby Lips Collection. When I was a child I remember being obsessed with the idea of owning and having to have every single Bonnie Bell Lip Balm flavor around. If I’m honest with myself I still have that crazy, impulsive need to just OWN them all.
The same holds true for Maybelline Baby Lips!
Maybelline Baby Lips Buds LIp Balm is the 6th or so variation of the product. We have Baby Lips Crystal (my personal fav), the original formula, Dr Rescue, Electro, and the list goes on and on….! I guess when you have a great selling product you might as well run with the idea.
Do you have an obsessive need to own all the Baby Lips in the makeup world?
So today I reviewed the Maybelline the Smokes Eyeshadow Palette and I, well, to put it kindly, I hated it! So why in the world do I have a lemming for this Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Expert Wear Shadow Palette which is lurking on the Walmart.com site at the moment?
Do I need it?
Do I want it?
It’s likely as dry and as dense as the Smokes and the Nudes Palette that I already own which makes me question my lemming sanity.
Ah the life of a makeup junkie.
One can hope that the Blushed Nudes proves better than what I’ve seen so far from these palettes.
Might this change my (our) mind?
Maybelline the Smokes Eyeshadow Palette is a new Expert Wear Eyeshadow Palette featuring twelve shades of eyeshadow. We saw the Maybelline the Nudes Eyeshadow Palette earlier last year and there were plenty of rumors on the horizon that more of these Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Palettes would be popping up!
And it’s true! Not only do we have the Maybelline the Smokes Eyeshadow Palette (Exclusively at Walgreens) available but also a Maybelline the Brights Eyeshadow Palette which is exclusive to Target as well as a The Blushes Nudes Palette available at Walmart.
So that’s four different palettes to look forward.
But I digress, let’s concentrate on the Maybelline the Smokes Eyeshadow Palette for now.
Here are some thoughts!
Maybelline Carnation Cabernet Rebel Bloom Lipstick is one of several limited edition shades of Maybelline Rebel Bloom Color Sensational Lipsticks launching for Spring 2015. The thing I’m loving about the Rebel Bloom formula is even shades I wouldn’t normally wear, like Carnation Cabernet, end up being quite wearable.

Maybelline Master Matte Blush Stick by Face Studio in Rosy Rush is one of a few new limited edition matte blush sticks that Maybelline is launching with their new Rebel Bloom Spring 2015 Collection. I’ve actually only come across one Maybelline Matte Blush Stick so far but their are reports of at least two to three other shades.
These are a new formulated version of the Maybelline Master Glaze Blush Sticks with a new matte finish sans glitter, shimmer, or sparkle.
Let’s take a look!
