Funny story…I went to the Chanel counter recently and my regular MA was sadly not there so I struck up a conversation with the manager at the counter and she tried to sell me some snow in Summer. Kiddin’. She tried to convince me to try some skincare and proceeded to tell me my skin was a combination. Eh? News to me! I thought I was terribly dehydrated. Was she trying to sell me something or am I really a combination skin type? What? Have I gone through life thinking I’m dry and all this time I’m a combo?
Naa can’t be.
Seriously?
Shrug.
Either the case I’m def not oily that much we’ve established but good news for oily skin girls! Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup Collection is a newly launched line of base products to take up sword in hand and battle your shine away.

Looks like Neutrogena Visibly Bright Daily Facial Cleanser came out early this Spring but I’m just hearing about it now.
Anyone try it?
Supposedly it transforms dull, tired skin to visibly brighten and refreshes it in as little as four uses.
Hmmm considering I have dull skin I decided to try it.

Neutrogena offers a new and exciting way to remove your eye makeup with their Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. I have really dry eyes and I prefer using an oil based remover but I’m always tempted by something more hydrating or a product that allows me to easily remove eye makeup sans tugging.
Neutrogena Eye Makeup Remover Lotion promises a hydrating formula that’s safe enough for sensitive eyes but still manages to remove waterproof makeup.
Does it work?
P.S. Here’s Misha in a skirt, sometimes you need a little something to jump start your Monday morning.

This Summer felt like the Summer of the SPF. SPF has evolved a fair bit this year and I’m seeing more and more options that offer a higher SPF factor of 50 and up. Such products are the norm in the Asian market however here in the US we tend to stick to the 30 range.
Another interesting evolution is drugstore makeup brands offering SPF options. Asia is flooded with a variety of SPF products and brands in particular offer not only color cosmetic options but also an SPF product or several. It’s very rare that there isn’t some SPF option available from most brands in Asia.
Versus here in the US, where we don’t normally see our favorite brands such as say Maybelline or Revlon offering a product available exclusively for sun protection.
Neutrogena changes all that with it’s new Ulta Sheer Liquid Daily Sun Protection. Does this mean we’ll see more drugstore brands offering SPF products all their own?
Let’s hope so!

Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm is a new treatment balm that helps improve lips over time by smoothing them out, plumping them up, and giving them a rosy glow.
Seems balms, glosses, and lipsticks that improve the look of your lips over time will prove the rage in drugstores this year….as for me…I don’t get the point in all honesty.
Whatcha think?

Kinda weird I was discussing the release of a new Clarisonic a few posts back and now Neutrogena Wave Duo pops on the scene.
Neutrogena Wave Duo is the new and improved Wave Cleaner from Neutrogena!
Click it to find out what’s new!
One of the main areas of interest on the new Neutrogena Wave Duo is it now has two speeds. One speed removes dirt, oil, and makeup where as the other speeds things up for a deep pore refining clean.
I was quite delighted with the original Wave when I tested it out several months ago so count me curious what the new version is like.
If you’re looking for a cheaper route and aren’t willing to dish out $200 for a cleaning brush this is something to consider.
You can get $3 off the Wave or $2 off the refill pads by visiting and signing up at the Neutrogena site if you’re interested.
