Fiber mascara aka OMG I HAVE SOMETHING IN MY EYE GET IT OUT! is not my favorite mascara of choice.
I don’t do so well with fiber mascaras. Anytime I used them I always felt like I had a lash stuck up under my upper waterline and I go through the day absolutely miserable trying hard not to scratch an eyeball out trying to get to that imaginary hair.
Well, needless to say Maybelline Illegal Length Mascara was on my DO NOT WANT list of mascaras. This is a fiber extension mascara so it extends lashes using tiny little fibers.
Not good.
But I gave it a whirl and…

My Harmons Store is not connected to a Bed, Bath, and Beyond however they do sell NYX and have a huge range of drugstore makeup, etc…they are particularly fabulous at keeping up on new collections and they are about .50-$1.50 cheaper on most products compared to CVS, Walgreens, etc…
However, some folks don’t have Harmons or a Harmons attached to their Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I do however urge you to check out your local Bed, Bath, and Beyond as some of the stores prove as well stocked as Harmons (not sure why, but they are a tad more expensive). Harmons and BBB are the same entity essentially but some folks have the store and some don’t so that’s why I definitely suggestion checking out a few of your local BBB’s for beauty finds.
I’m bringing up the topic of these two stores because Bed, Bath, and Beyond will be carrying NYX. Only a few stores have the line but hopefully we’ll see more stores roll it out.
This is great as NYX does prove a little difficult to locate in stores sometimes and it’s nice not having to rely on the Internet to place an order.
Check out www.nyxcosmetics.com to see if a Bed, Bath, and Beyond store in your area is selling NYX.

I’m the happy owner of a few Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes.
Many of you already tried them but I just got a chance to test them out yesterday, actually, I’m still in the midst of testing them out at the moment. Quite a few folks mentioned they were sheer and very subtle, true that….so far I’m have issues getting some of the lighter shades to show up on my skin. But the texture is rather awesome, I like the springy clay-like action of it! The texture kinda reminds me of a lighter version of the Chanel Illusion d’Ombre Long-Wear Luminous Eyeshadow.
Jump ahead for a few swatches!

Garnier has some new wrinkle reducer out. Notice that snarky way I said that.
Sorry…I just don’t completely buy into all of Garnier’s claims and think they could do so much more with their products particularly when they are creating gems like their gel moisturizers. Guys, let’s see more of that good stuff!
This one is a 2 in 1 product that features a helix swirl of moisturizer plus the addition of serum. A single product to firm skin and hydrate while it’s doing the anti-aging bit.
Interestingly enough I’m seeing more and more products at my local drugstore that have testers out. That includes color cosmetics as well as skincare.
Mmm +1 for the drugstore!
