Drugstore Brands
By the Muse on November 4, 2009
Milani has been doing these rather sneaky little limited edition collections lately. For example the Milani StyliSticks snuck up on me during a recent drugstore foray. Also have you seen the small Milani Quads? These are great, review coming on those soon.
Moral of the story is do keep your eyes open for these LE items as they sell out fast. Speaking of LE…..Milani Rock and Glow All Over Glitter Creams are new for Holiday 2009 and should be guest starring at your local drugstore soonish along with a brand new collection of nail varnishes in several shades.

Hey chicas!
How’s the day treating you so far? I’m kinda sortin’ busy procrastinating my way through mine but I really need to buckle down and get some work done.
I know I’ve been on and on about Hard Candy lately but it’s a hot topic on the blogsphere lately and you know me I’m always about the latest and greatest.
I thought I’d share some pics with you of the display at Walmart.

After hitting up Hard Candy hard the Muse has decided her favorite pick of all is the Hardy Candy Sheer Envy Tinted Moisturizer.

A little more beauty on a budget kids with the Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carmindy Collection. I’m little late to this ballgame as this line was introduced a while back ago and I just got a chance to try it out recently.
You know me I’m such a nitpicker when it comes to drugstore makeup. What do you think? Will I like Sally Hansen’s Natural Beauty Collection?
We’ll see….

The Muse wants to know, are there really people out there that work in mattes? If so, I want you to know I admire you so bloody much. Matte is probably one of thee most difficult mediums I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I’m no expert at makeup application but I do think that shimmers, pearls, creams, etc…are way easier to blend and work with when compared to mattes. Mattes are the work of the devil as far as this Muse is concerned.
However, if matte is your bag you’ll adore the fact that L’Oreal HIP now has a range of shadow duos that are matte in formula and highly pigmented.

Hard Candy Nobody’s Perfect Concealer Palette is for those of you who aren’t perfect. Granted the Muse happens to be perfect in all ways but for the folks that aren’t quite as incredible as she is, I present to you a concealer palette to help create the illusion of perfect.
I’m kidding, I’m kidding.
I’m far from perfect, particularly when it comes to having to conceal problem areas. My biggest need for concealer stems from tired looking, puffy eyes.
Will the Hardy Candy Concealer Palette help me perfect those problems? Maybe…
