Drugstore Makeup Brands
I know, Christmas is over, time for Spring Collections, yada, yada…But I am still somewhat on Christmas mode around here and I still have a few left over pieces of Holiday Makeup Collections to visit so bear with me while I do so.
So who indulged in ELF Cosmetics 24K Collection? Kinda nifty packaging if not pricey by ELF’s normal budget standard prices.
I tested out the E.L.F. 24 K Makeup Clutch and here are a few of my thoughts!
For you, a cheap version of MAC Shadesticks.
Almay Intense I-Color Eyeshadow Sticks for Spring 2012.
Ok, so not exactly cheap at $8 bucks each but hey, they have something MAC doesn’t, two shades in one stick.
Beat that MAC!
NYC New York Color Cosmetics has a brand new selection of City Duet 2 in 1 Lipsticks. If you’re on a bit of a beauty budget brands like New York Color Cosmetics and Wet n Wild have definitely stepped up their game to bring you some rather great beauty purchases for $2-$3 or so.
City Duet 2 in 1 Lip Colors are a dual sided lipstick that has two shades of lip color in one stick. Interesting eh? Not innovative by any means as I’ve seen a few brands that have done similar lipsticks but fun none the less.
Worthy of a pick up?

Truly I appreciate all the big beauty boasts. Longer lashes up to 100x the length, 165 hour foundation wear, 48 hour lipstick color, etc…etc…
They get more and more ridiculous. Obviously drugstore brands have some seriously misleading claims.
So is the case with the new Maybelline Super Stay Stain Gloss. 10 hours of wear? More like 10 minutes.
I’m currently testing out the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadows but I thought I’d swatch them up for you prior to the review.
